I'm very happy to see LGBT education from Bhutan. I'm from Germany and gay. I fell in love with Bhutan when I was 4 years old and started learning Dzongkha 5 years ago. Seeing this video makes me so happy. ❤
Yes your right, I am sure with changing times they will be able to get full support from the society. I personally feel they should be given the respect from the society not being gays or lesbians but rather as an individual. I do have my own friend and i respect them for being themselves. much love to you from Bhutan.
I really appreciate what you guys are doing. People in our country and all the world included, deserve to be accepted irrespective of all their differences. This will help pass awareness about LGBT in Bhutan. And many might feel strengthened to let their sexuality be out in the open. For a better future. Cheers!
This video is an eye opener for a closed Bhutanese community. I am proud of the people in the video who have come out and are comfortable enough to express their sexuality. I'm glad that you have embraced your identity and that you have learnt how to overcome your obstacles. Good luck for the rest of your journey in life. :) Great job ashim Tshering.
Well done everyone involved in making this episode! I'm very impressed by the honesty and bravery of the subjects and the storytelling skills of the maker, Tshering Zam. Looking forward to more More Than Birds and Bees... :)
This is my first tym to see 🏳️🌈 doc from Bhutan , m so happy they r trying to come out of closet and b comfortable in their own skin..luv Frm japan...
I love this couple so cute I didn't knew it's also happening in Bhutan I always watch on UA-cam from other Country but I supports this people...keep going this is what god gave you to be unique but still human so be good human.
Such a beautiful video. I don't know why I didn't watch this before. I am..sorry I know it's not easy to be who you are and live in this society..But trust me you have people who support you. And I really loved miss Ugyen yangchen interview. She is so honest and so positive. I can see what a kind soul these people are. Love to all. 💚💛💙🧡💜❤🌈
I think it’s quite a luxury or privilege that a LGBT life is recognised in the society you are living in. it is/should be basic right of the individuals and It certainly is sign of well-being advancement. When the base is covered all successive progress can be built upon conducive way. Thumps up 👍to your journey
It's not fair that they have to go through such thing as "coming out" to the society while straight people don't need to go through such difficult phase. "I'm Sonam Pelden and I'm straight and that's okay because this is who I am!" #GenderIsASocialConstruct
Being LGBT is not by choice its by nature itself they are made that way so how could people think its ridiculous or sth. When nature has no problem in creating such uniqueness who are humans to have an issue with it. We should learn to respect natures creation and learn to live in harmony with everyone. But thankfully Bhutan has made homosexuality legal. Moreover Bhutanese society is very tolerant and not like other countries where LGBT people are extremely discriminated. Hope all of LGBT people around the world get to live the life they were meant for without fear. God bless you all.
idk why people down look to others.....all are one human being its just that people fall in love with the same sex.....all the people should be treated equally.....
we need to have safety protection programme, policy support and most importantly cultural and social support specifically that addresses their need and themselves. Every one needs an equal opportunity and space to live in the way they want... I think BBS 2 great job in creating an awareness. It can actually help those that are trapped in dilemma and our society at large... My full support to you all..
Love makes a family thats true.every person have their own rights.we r special in our own ways.gudluck guys.keep going 👍👍👍.one day they will understand u

We have each the right to be the best of ourselves. And that is the only rule.
