The government subsidized public housings in USA is more or less like the one in UK . There's a little different here from State to State or depending on the individual county or even city . Generally the resident pay only 30% of their grand income per month for the average standard size apartment or the bungalow house for those having many children. If one prefers could apply for certain better housing and self pay more for it . Government subsidies the rest . Many of such better ones having their own restaurant inside the facility . Some of the government subsidized now allow for citizens at age as low as 55 instead of 65 before . Been allowed to own one car and personal wealth under 58 thousand US$. ( northern Midwest ). But not sure about this amount now . 😎🇺🇸. Of cause for those wealthy , would join the very fancy retirement community with self pay , or living in their own castle in a nice neighborhood , having scheduled nurse visits that covered by their healthcare plans. For those very poor ones who qualified for the Medicaid and over the age of 65, the government covering just about anything .

在愛丁堡租一間房都要800多鎊，她没有工作，不用交租兼有Council tax 津貼，仲有福利每個月都有900多鎊福利比返工更划算，有council 還有福利津貼，請那些拿了福利的不要網上晒，有很多本地人等了很久都拿不到公屋，難民，特殊情況的即刻有，請那些新移民不要上綗晒，因為對本地人不公平，本地人住公屋也不會綗上晒
