Finally, I'm happy to present the video to my tribute to Seattle, "Home". The song features MC's Vitamin D, Note, Maneak B and Ish, who have all been big influences in my music. Sir Mix a Lot brought out his orange Lambo and Nate Burleson repped the town and the Seahawks as well. Super Director Zia did a phemomenal job creating the perfect visual for the music and now its time for the world to see it.

This song is the definition of Hip Hop
Totally agree with you
Ish verse is one of the best ever , and the whole video and vibe is so Seattle
This video make me proud to be born and raised in Seattle! Nuff respect due to the homie Jake One.
If you've found this track...congratulations you're a Hip-Hop Head! -Luv, from Chicago.
I know this is a Seattle song but I heard it in San Fran in a Hundreds store. Great song.
It's crazy to see how much the city has changed since 2009.
Jonathan Mundy gotten much worse
@Fuck You more like gentrified
@Fuck You Everett has so many homeless people its wild
I don’t even go downtown anymore, absolutely NOT Capitol Hill. Seattle is absolute trash, everything outside of Seattle, very nice.
This track reps Seatown so nicely.
Ish is still ill with the flow ! He killed it Digable Planets for life boy !
I love this song! I'm from the East Coast but this track goes sooo hard! #onrepeat 😊😍😘
me too!!!
I love this COMMENT
Same.
I am from Los Angeles, and I can honestly say I am upset I have not heard Northwest Hip-Hop sooner. This is an excellent piece of music. It follows the radio friendly and conscious paradigm that I see that Seattle is known for.
😂😂
Best Seattle jam easily.
I havent heard a beat so vivid and mind-trancing since pete rock and c.l smooth's "T.R.O.Y". And Ish, who was originally with the Digable Planets back in the 90's, its dam good to see him. It's always good to see an old school mc that still got it. And here winter is again: it truly is the "therapy season".
Ish killed that song !
I'm from Cali and even I know that's a dumb question bruh. Seattle's more west coast than most cities here.
love this beat, so smooth. Props to Seattle MCs and Jake for this joint
i lol-ed at the beginning. You gotta love Sir Mix A-lot
Makes me proud of my city!!!
Still a banger
As good as this track already is, I reckon it must feel even better to come from Seattle while listening:)
It's honestly kind of sad to watch. Seattle has changed so much and the central district is nothing like it was. Rip Seattle.
r sad That's the truth. I was surprised a few weeks ago when I went to Garfield HS for an event, alot has changed.
And 100,000 white male bland amazon nerds have moved here since 2009
Dylan H C I wanna die
Dylan H C like thats a bad thing. 😂😂😂
A goddamn decade. Still amazing. Love from UK ☝️
That's a great anthem for Seattle.
I'm not from Seattle, but I gotta say they have the best group of artists.
"I read Seattle times. I watch Seattle news. I hope Seattle wins. I watch Seattle lose." - haha some days. :P
Seattle seem to be a united hip hop community.
ruffdraft it is but it was closer at this time. It’s definitely not the same anymore.
shits tight! showin love from New London, CT
BIG UPS SEATTLE...
White Van Music is the most slept on album in a long time. Every song on it is like classic
Seattle history!! Love it!!
Best thing about this video: Jake One is in the video very unassumingly giving all homage to the City. And it's rare to see a collaboration where everyone kills it. And they nailed it. This song and video will forever be a hit.
🔥🔥🔥real hip Hop....legacy forever!
Stevens played TE for the Seattle Seahawks at one time. The lyric in which Vitamin D cautions those visiting Seattle not to "lose [their] grip like Jeremy Stevens" makes reference to Jeremy's issues catching/securing the football during his tenure with team. The Seahawks were one of my rooting interests then, and those ties helped me make the connection. However, it was a good question, as you were most likely not the only one wondering about the statement being made there.
Wow, respect to Seattle...haven't heard hip-hop in a long ass time...
Dropped a 20 on the ground, and didn't even miss it! Dick's drive in! Grocery outlet! Ezelle's chicken! Woooo
15 years later, this song still slaps. Maybe even more so now with the erosion of hip-hop. In the rotation on the regular.
Amazing... I grew up with all two these superstars.. hand in hand.. I know alot of well know stars in Seattle.... The music scene in Seattle is mean.. Grammys all day long.. Bruce Lee Quincy Jones Jimmy Hendrix Ray Charles Ish butler Jake... We stay winning Mix alot and many more..
I'm not from Seattle but I like the music (I'm from NY), much love to the city of Seattle for stayin' true to itself. & shout out to the Mariners too (1 of my 4 favorite baseball teams).

I often revisit this video... love my city! 77 dislikes? Must be ppl from Tacoma lol
Vitamin D & Tribal laid the foundation for damn near everything thats going on with Hip Hop in Seattle right now... C-Note & Narcotik have the dopest album made in Seattle that never dropped... Maneak Tubman, that's the homie! ...and i've been waiting to hear Ish rap about Seattle since listening to Digable Planets in middle school!!! classic.
I got Narcotiks vinyl hanging on my wall ✊🏾
As a Seattleite going to school out of town this video is too much. LOVE IT.

This is a good west coast track this is a good one Jake One.
this song is so dope
ive never seen the town repped better lived there 8 years from the cd to cap hill made me miss my city
Ish hovered over that beat
"Them ain't rain clouds, my nigga, that's blunt smoke"
I love that he gets into a Stratus. Real rap.
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Man I heard this album back when it dropped, but I never saw this video. The Sir Mix-A-Lot cameo was hilarious. And I have to agree with everybody else in the comments from years ago, yes this is real hip hop. And Seattle's still got it alive and well
Seattle Hip-Hop!
I love seeing my city in a vid!
Man i miss seattle. It will always be my home.
as someone from the East, I can't stand "anthem songs"... but if there's a way to do it, it's exactly the way you do it in this vid: show your hood, make the song undeniable, and just do your Hip Hop, regardless if it's about "banging" or "cooking crack"... cats rep wrong, and this was a good look. Dude @ 2:18 destroys it... that's the most memorable verse on this whole song.
peace 2 the town.. peace 2 Jake One, Vitamin D, Note, Maneak B and Ish.. dope piece.. continued blessings..
I gotta lotta love for the 206 ✌️
In argentina this track explodes ! Peace up!
I love buenos aires so much ..
Still one of the best songs ever
Ish is the best part of anything he participates in.
I have been listening to his song since release, but only now realize that macklemore is in it.
Me too
This is hip hop at its finest....
