I like how these occasionally expand on what the characters’ “powers” are, since the talents often just avoid specific questions or make things up about what they’re capable of in kayfabe. Interested to see what happens when Council gets added, since they’re literal gods.

I do love me some nonsensical and plotless Hologra but these episodes where they just make a coherent and funny story showcasing their amazing animations skills are top notch

The pun was about what they were on. "On the same page", a common English expression meaning thinking about something similarly/ agreement -> "On a rooftop", which is literal.
Seems they layered 2 puns in EN & JP. That's rather complex & clever.

This episode just showcases why Calli should be a guest character in a fighting game.
I mean... look at Kugeki Animations, they make almost _all_ the Holomems fighting game worthy
But yes. Especially since she's a Guilty Gear fan.
Honestly, if Holocure has taught me anything is that everyone in the company has amazing kits that could be translated in a fighting game.
Some Myth Examples:
Ame is a zoner, using her pistol like Naoto (Persona 4 Ultmax)
Gura is a Rushdown, who attacks fast and locks down opponents with shark bites
Kiara is a mid range focused character on countering with her shield and sword
Ina is Grappler using her tentacles for long poked and slamming
And Calli can use her shadowy movement to mix up opponents to hit for massive single hits.
In case y'all don't know Yagoo was Interviewed by Bandai Namco dev Harada maker of Tekken series, they jokingly said "Maybe they should appear in my fighting game?" said Harada. It's been a Year since that talk so if something is cooking in secret this year will be the best time to announce it😎

Mori's voice acting was good, she sounded genuine in the moment. The action was really good for Hologra too.
I think Calli will always be my favorite vtuber concept. The grim reaper's apprentice who is associated with death but is like pink and super feminine is just such a great idea/cool aesthetic and Calli is overflowing with talent. Can't wait to see her in more Hologra!
She could have leaned into the whole "edgy minion of darkness" thing, instead what we get is a giggly, dorky goofball who ends up being chat's dad.

There's a japanese pun in that line. What Calli said, "Gokai nandesu!" means "It's a misunderstanding!" or "You got it wrong!" in context, but can also mean "This is the 5th floor!". That's why Shion said "This is the roof!" and Calli replied "Not what I meant!"

Callie seems to be the best EN voice so far. The others have this restrained falsetto sound to them. Like their trying to scream without picking up their voices if that makes sense. Callie lines here (mostly) work because the delivery doesn't require anything extra.
Can't wait to see Gura. She's been really fantastic in every voice role she's been given tbh.

@BRBingeDrinker ehh the umiseaa stuff was rough tbh. Not as bad as Ina, but she definitely restrained herself a lot there and felt like she was reading the script too much if that makes sense. she seems to have learned a lot from the experience going by the more recent stuff she's been in though.

I actually love how she moves around by turning into smoke. From flying or showing up near you is such a great effect.

@@jeremiahtan759 the others aren’t traditional summons like u see here. They’re more just her popping in out of thin air when needed. And I know of at least three other times off the top of my memory. This is the first time I can remember a proper summoning circle tho.

Calli has established herself as having the coolest Hologra debut to date. Yay Dad!
Easily my favourite short to date. Love seeing the interaction between JP and EN talents despite the language barrier. Would love to see more shorts like this in the future.

I realized why I keep coming back to this episode in particular. Aside from the awesome animation, this is one of the most coherant episodes of Hologra I've ever seen.
カリは本当にビジュアルとボイスがピッタリすぎる。

Shion dragging Ojou away is hilarious. And the fight scene between Calli and Shion. That cinematic is awesome.
This is by far the best debut for calli to enter the stage of hololive animation she looks so good in this frame it's amazing and the animation frame is insane.. holy well done hololive I'm proud :D
