Results from a successful "Hack and Squirt" treatment on an invasive privet patch

If you are familiar with non-native invasive privet (Ligustrum sp.) then you know just how frustrating dealing with an advanced infestation can be! These woody shrubs can grow into impenetrable thickets, that are really more like a wall than a patch. The work can seem daunting. But there's hope! Tunnel through a recently treated privet patch with EcoForester's Forestry Associate and Invasive Species Control Crew Lead, Mary Vann Johnston, as she assesses the results of a "hack and squirt" application.
