TOURATECH GPS MOUNTING ADAPTOR above display INSTALLATION on KTM 1290 Super Adventure S/R 2021-2024

How to install the TOURATECH GPS MOUNTING ADAPTOR on the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S or KTM 1290 Super Adventure R.
The "Touratech GPS mounting adapter above instruments for KTM 1290 Super Adventure S/R" is mounted on the back of the TFT display. This video shows how to install the mount on a KTM 1290 SAS or KTM 1290 SAR
On the 12mm tube you can mount a GPS / SATNAV mount,
I use the mount that comes with the Garmin Zumo XT together with this Motorcycle Handlebar Mount Compatible with Garmin Zumo : www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product...
With the motorcycle GPS bracket from Touratech the GPS is in a fixed position above the display.
When looking at the GPS navigation device, the road stays in your eyefield.
The main difference between this Touratech GPS mount and the original KTM Powerpart GPS bracket, is that the KTM GPS bracket is mounted between the windscreen bolts so it moves up or down when you change the heigt of the windscreen.

Hello, the box contains also a ram mount to mount the GPS connector on. So it's not necessary to buy the plastic mount. I did to place the GPS on the Touratech mount.

Good video. I ordered the Moto-mate. Same idea. Just a different mount. What is your tank bag? Do you have a little video on it? Easy removal for fueling?

Thanks ! The tankbag is a GIVI XS319 with a quick lock so very easy to remove. I'll make a video one of these days :-)

Touratech low quality products most of them, here u can see the flow mounting it under display! Horrible.
