There needs to be written history about the 90s-00s SGV gang and crime. It’s hard to get the truth about it because they’re not as willing to speak on it like other gangs do. There used to be an Asian Crime Task Force just for SGV and they had undercover agents. You can hardly find info on that. 1990 Bu Doi gets some of the SGV asian gangster life, like robbing your relatives and getting stopped and photo taken by the cops for being Asian. But it’s the late 80s-early 90s culture, Asian gangs changed a lot and started to be influenced by Latino gangs in the 90s and raving/drug culture.
I’d love to see an action movie about a white kid getting captured by the Comanche cause there’s plenty of examples of that. but not attempting to be politically correct or undertones of a political agenda . Just a raw movie with good acting; realistic violence and a realistic depiction of what life was like back then
