Gaano katagal mo na sa Pilipinas? Galing mo mag Tagalog. Ako Indian din pero born and bred ako dito . By the way, hindi totoo na 90% ng Indian ay sa money lending. Marami din mga traders, or manufacturers. Siguro less than 50% lang ang 5/6.

If you want to eat everyday fish, you must live in the province that near beach. You live near the beach in the province en everyday you would find different fish. In Manila, you would seldom find different fish like in the provinces. But you can find Seafood restaurant in Manila that is very expensive.

Bumbay is a term Filipinos use to identify people from India and to some extent the entire Indian subcontinent. There’s no derogatory intention or connotation. This is to distinguish the South Asians from the American Natives. Indians to Filipinos are the American Indians. You have to remember that we were a US colony for several decades so our exposure to Indians has been of the “Hollywood” stereotype. We also call Filipinos with Indian features as Bumbayin. Why Bombay? I can only speculate that maybe because most of the early Indian immigrants came from Bombay. The same happened to Filipinos in Louisiana, USA when the first Filipinos showed up in the States in the 16th and 17th centuries. They were called the Manila men. My great grandfather was from India and I am Bombayin in physical features (Pogi! Hehe) and I don’t mind being called Bombay. I love it actually because it implies I am cute. So please don’t get offended by that term. The only time it became offensive was when Bombay became associated with 5-6, which is a business that’s socially frowned upon in Philippine culture.

in manila yes..but try to come to mindanao....we dont eat tilapia here..because we have plenty kind of fish...
A lot of fish in Manila you can find them in Navotas n Malabon doon ang bagsakan try to go there an it’s cheap than in the market…the price of vegie depends if season rainy….
