Hey Tim, great story. I have got two of your Vegaboxes. One of them had way over 70000 km behind her belt. The internals are great I just want to renew the ballbearings. Can you give me the partnumbers, that would be great, greatings from the Netherlands
Does these work good when deleting power steering? I'm deleting power steering because of lack of room for my turbos. Thanks for info. I demoed the building for your new location in the Phoenix Arizona area.
If deleting power steering and going to manual steering with the use of a Vega box you can expect to achieve more physical effort when turning your vehicle. This is especially true when the vehicle is not moving and at low speeds. Weight of vehicle also is a contributing factor as far as steering effort required.
After 3 days of calling and trying to talk to a tech and being bounced around, I figured I'll just ask on here. Is the CPP power unit a reverse rotation or standard?
Many people have used Vega boxes for gasser applications. I know of many 55 Chevy’s running Vega boxes. Many factors come into play, such as how heavy the car is. If it’s a 55 with an all steel front end, bumpers, and a cast-iron Hemi we might steer you toward a heavier box. If you’re running a small block Chevy and the car is lightened like most drag cars are, you should be perfectly fine.
@@speedwaymotors thanks for getting back to me it will have bb chevy with iron heads steel front end no inner fenders has 2×4 front frame rails no front bumper

@@speedwaymotorshey which box would be easiest to fit my 52 Chevy styline car, I have a small block Chevy motor with shorty headers?
And not a lot clearance between headers and steering
Is the regular Vega box good enough for a '32 Ford roadster or would you recommend the Vega power unit?

It should be a standard rotation, just like a manual Vega box.
i just wish they were more affordable
would this fit a 54 f100?
Why is my steering back wards on a Vega box
Building a 55 chevy gasser mostly to drive on the street would the vega box be strong enough I have your HD straight axle in it thanks
