Thank you Peter for your oral traditional narrative. I was born onto the Uinta -Ouray Reservation in Utah. Land of the Ouray Ute's, and the Uintah's. My connection is to the Whiteriver Band. I have relatives in the White Rocks area. This as with the traditional Bear Dance and other oral traditions you have talked about are the only way to propagate knowledge forward though generations without reliance on machines. As "Human Beings", it is the only way. May the Great Peace always be with you :-)

My name is Benjamin Lehi from towaoc Colorado. My mom was Susan Lehi from the white river band of Utah. Born in and lived in white rocks.

@@irischief1470 I can only say that I was just lucky enough to have been born there. And my ancestry may have a hidden connection within. I was always drawn to the Pow Wow and the drumming and the dance. When I was young, I heard drums miles away and was pulled towards their power. When I arrived to where the drums called me, I was always welcomed with the biggest smiles and love for all, and everyone was dancing. I think I remember the Lehi's, it was long ago, but my spirit is still and will always be connected there. I took my parents ashes to the top of one of the bald peaks near white rock canyon so they could be together there.
