Car seats are technically supposed to go in the middle though so that might help to alleviate not having any room for the passenger

I have a 2021 Honda Civic
My best friend also has a newer Honda Civic and this car seat fits really well in it. There are definitely smaller car seat options available but so far I have had no issues with this one.
