I would say stock but I would avoid the index funds, mutual funds, or specific stocks for the time being. The 5% fixed incomes are the safest bet for now. Save your cash for when the market actually shows sign of recovery

If you don't already know, acquiring assets with proper mkt direction overtime will provide more returns than doing it all at once,
