Honestly… count your blessings living on the water is so amazing… you guys ACTUALLY live ON the water… it’s such good juju… good vibes… flow of positive energy! I lived on the lake or river almost all my life whether a home or cottage and i would always want to be close to the water … it’s just a whole different world and feels so good! ❤
Someone who lives with depression ,and anxiety ,it can just roll up in the Rools Royce of life ,it shiny ,slick ,and fast ,can take you off your feet ,but when you have loved one who know and realise what happening ,the feet get strong ,the shoulders straighten and head goes up towards the sky and see the sun and feel the heat .Stay safe and enjoy this weekend .👋☘️💚🇮🇪
Awww this video is beyond beautiful and the fact that you left work to be with your family honestly massive lump to my throat so much love to you all xXx❤️💕💕❤️
Glad all turned out well in the end. Wes, living with anxiety is difficult but you have a wonderful partner in Amy, who understands and supports you. I loved your little quips, which always make me laugh, despite not feeling on top of the world. Lots of love. Here's to a better week 🍻
Because I'm late coming to these last videos, it's really difficult to come up with appropriate comments! Having seen you at Crick, and knowing you survived the ups and downs of the last vlogs, I just love that you've been strong together. Keep up the good work 🙂
Thanks to everyone who has left the most sweetest comments or who has liked and newly subscribed!! I've read a lot of nice comments and they express great support and most definitely needs there own shout out, so I'll volunteer and leave this comment for those that deserves huge hugs! Enjoy a beautiful cup of coffee or tea everyone. Thanks all around, to everyone ❤️ Kay
Hey Wes and Amy, good vlog. Just wanted to say treasure every single minute with dear Rufus. Lost my elderly Golden Retriever last week and am bereft. Love eachother , love your dog.x
Just like the swans swimming against the water. You will get there. We believe in you and I personally want to thank you for been there not only for each other, but for us also. Sending so much love to you all. Xxxx
Love your honesty with ups and downs. You’re both so down to earth yet funny and living life 💪🤩 P.s: love Newbury ❤ - our daughter lives there with her husband Henry (Tim’s brother) and their two little kids 💙🩷
Hi Guys!! Know you had a crap experience and no wonder you are anxious about possible extra ones but everyone has come out intact. I am so jealous of your ability to give the furries a good cuddle as unfortunatly my kit Pippen tolerates only limited amount then the claws and teeth are out. I make alowances because the wee soul was found at side of road with leg hanging off. No wonder he is somewhat tetchy. Your Rabbit (do not know how to spell his name) is so healthy because of your care and attention. You are wonderful people. Oh The vegan Plant Brand cheese from Aldi is fab by the way. Welll toodle pip. Blessings to all. Elaine X
great to see you enjoying narrowboat life again, sorry to hear about the excess...luckily your still up, im a bit nervous about parking up the boat in weird locations...I imagine at times you can feel very vulnerable, lovely vlogging dudes take care x
Thanks for sharing. Even though things are rough for you guys, just watching makes me happy. I really enjoy seeing all the places you guys go. Cheers!!!
Charlieeee! 👋🏻😍 thank you!! No problem at all! Andy and Steve said you liked the Thames, hope all is well for you! So lovely to meet and hang out. Happy cruising 🌞
You are both such a massive inspiration. I think you’ve achieved so much! I love the fact that you are animal lovers too. Me and my kids live on budget stuff while our pets have luxury!!! I feel for Wes. Anxiety and depression are torture. Keep going and remember you are amazing
OMG you poor guys, what a nightmare. And the anxiety as well... I do hope you can start to put it behind you and get back to your normal fun-loving selves soon. PS- you are such a laugh- you are my favourite narrowboat channel. (To be fair I do write that in all the boating channels, but this time I mean it, honest!)
Well done for coping with the situation - you turned it into a success and hopefully you’ll still get some of your money back. I believe you’ve had a good time at Crick since then so hopefully things are looking up for you both xx
Anxiety works in mysterious ways..little kids knocking on the window and running away, yes a year ago lol! But I'm still not easy with it. Lots of love you four as always xxxx
you had a disastrous start to your weekend but you ended triumphantly. Give yourselves a break, you handled the situation brilliantly. Now it’s time to rest, chill out, recuperate. In time it’ll just be a faint memory of one of the many experiences you will have during your life.❤❤
Love those chicken balls. I fry peppers and onions then add a jar of uncle Ben's lemon sauce( vegan by ingredient) then add to cooked chicken balls and serve with tofu 'egg' fried rice with peas x
Hi both, glad you had a good time and didn't let those robbing barstewards effect you to the point where it stopped you from being you. Take care both of you and btw when i die i am coming back as a furbaby in your boat! my goodness those two are so loved and looked after ❤
Hi Amy and Wes. Sorry to see you both so down 😢. That massage chair nearly got the full force of your frustrations. Hopefully you didn’t end up paying all the excess. The river still looked to be fast flowing. Definitely don’t want to end up doing a Crobot! Take care. Nick
You might think it sounds like you are moaning but even when you are understandably feeling knocked down by the rubbish things that have happened the humour you both use to keep yourselves afloat comes across strongly on screen. The on screen text adding the pound that the chair tried to steal to your total loss, before crossing it out when you got it back, was also pretty funny.
Oh I’m beyond gutted now I’ve realised how close to Newbury you were, I have a mooring currently empty in Newbury, gated garden mooring with gated private car park, you could have used it for the weekend and none of that would have happened and you could have had peace of mind leaving the boat 😩
When the chair ate your pound, I think the universe took a look at you and thought, "these ones have had enough for one day, they can have their coin back".
So sorry about the inconvenience caused by crazy people breaking into the car. Such a mess and extra money. Wes do you still have a job? You keep referring to have to work.??
We get excess insurance for a year from companies separate to the hire car company. We use the RAC. We have it for use abroad, costs about £60. Would think someone will do it for hiring cars in the Uk.
I’m glad you had a lovely time at the festival despite the dreadful circumstances when you were getting ready to go. You turned it around, didn’t let it spoil your trip, I hope you get some of the money back. It is worth getting annual insurance to cover events like this, we pay something like £50 per year to cover hire cars abroad, it is better to shop around and definitely cheaper to buy annual insurance rather than what the company offers each time. Lovely to see the family all together again, Wes, Amy and two pets, this kind of thing reminds you that you’ve got to be vigilant at all times about things like parking in well lit areas and not leaving valuables on show etc. Take care you 4 lots of love. xxxx

You did so well to not let the robbery ruin your whole weekend, never easy to just put things behind you
For sure, but we still had a good weekend 😊 thank you! ❤️

Hi Amy and Wes. Sorry to see you both so down 😢. That massage chair nearly got the full force of your frustrations. Hopefully you didn’t end up paying all the excess. The river still looked to be fast flowing. Definitely don’t want to end up doing a Crobot! Take care. Nick
Thank you Nick! 🥰 haha it was in the chairs best interest to give us the pound back 😂 x

Huge thank you Teresa 🥰🥰
Just me and James sitting here wondering where you stuff all the frozen food you brought at the shop 😂😂😂
Even dropped you a message mid watch

The right side of Newbury lock and everything
Aww! That would’ve been lovely, so kind!! Thank you so much, but don’t worry about it ❤️😊
When the chair ate your pound, I think the universe took a look at you and thought, "these ones have had enough for one day, they can have their coin back".
😂 it has to be the only explanation
“They’ve had enough, just let them have the £1” 😂
Fingers crossed, enterprise will charge you the minimum. At least you had a good few days at camp quirky. ❤
Fingers crossed it’s not too much 🤞🏻we did for sure! 😊
So sorry about the inconvenience caused by crazy people breaking into the car. Such a mess and extra money. Wes do you still have a job? You keep referring to have to work.??

Surely they should have got a quote for the repair and charged you that not that exorbitant charge.
Seems very expensive for a car window 😮
We had to pay the excess which is a lot, then they repair it out of that and returns the remainder 🤞🏻
@@BoatTime did you say it was around £900 ? That seems a massive amount for a window for a car
@@stokecarpanglers that’s the excess we had to pay! Don’t think it’s per thing it’s just a flat excess rate
As you hire a car regularly, why don't you take out an annual excess insurance. Keep up the good work with the vlogs.
We didn’t know about this at the time but are definitely going to look into it and get it for the future! 😊 thank you
What would life be like without chips?! (English chips, not American 🤣) 😌🙏😍
100%! English chips are better 😋xx
I don't understand ? To get a window replaced by a specialist car glass company is about 350 quid why did you have to pay so much?
We had to pay the excess, they repair the window and then refund the remaining balance after repairs. 🤞🏻
You can’t take it with you 🤷♂️
That’s a very expensive window! :/ Luckily you got your pound back 🥲
😂 that would’ve been a low blow by the chair to take it
Glad it’s behind you now
Perseverance pays off… you had a great weekend after a bad experience and you have each other and the “kids” 🩵🩵
