- Roar was one of my favorite shows ever. It was cancelled way too soon. However, the fans were lucky to get 13 episodes.
The BEST couple on the show were Connor, the young leader, and Catlin, the ex-slave. Their love was real and pure. Both characters were brilliantly portrayed by Heath Ledger and Vera Farmiga. You saw Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain/Casanova/A Knight's Tale/etc...You saw Vera Farmiga in The Departed/Touching Evil/etc..

i remember finding the series by accident and seeing the huge potential of heath ledger... and just 11 years later he slipped out of this life. this video is wonderful, even though it breaks my heart. i feel as if someone close has died but how can this be... there are two generations between heath and me and of course i have never even met him. he has an un-nameable quality, which is acurately captured here... and of course the choice of music... wow ! thank you. love from robbiew8n xx
I understand what you mean. Thanks for your response. I made posted this video obviously back in July before any of this happened. Heath will always be one of my favorite actors. I've always admired his work. And also he seems to have been a genuinely good person as well.

I was always such a HUGE Conor/Catlin shipper, it was the main reason I watched this show. It always made me so angry that one episode he was telling Catlin he loved her, and in the next he was flirting with Molly! Seriously, I remember yelling at the TV over this, haha

i've not watch this for quite some time.... only just re-found it by accident and still find it is so beautiful. heath ledger seems to be such an incredible human being, perhaps tortured by his huge capacity to love. when he finally says
.
".......... i ..... love you"
he portrays the kind of love that could save the world.... if only we would let it.

The thing is that episode 9 basically showed the romantic feelings that Conor has for Catlin. The episode is Tash. And in that episode, when he tells her that HE loves her, there is a long pause like he wants to emphasize that fact. He says, "You are loved here. We love you...I love you." He could have just said that "we love you." Instead, he paused for a LONG time before expressing specifically that HE loves her. Then after he makes that declaration, there is a LONG stare between them. Love.
YAY! Conor/Catlin! I was a huge fan back in 1997, when this show originally aired, and Conor/Catlin were one of my first TV ships. Thank you so so so so very much for making this gorgeous video. I just got the DVD set, so now I can finally see the last 5 episodes!

And he was willing to give up everything to save her in this episode. He was scared to lose her. This is why i was totally disappointed with every following episodes and more so with the last one...
I'm mad now! I first saw Roar on scifi, had no clue heath ledger was in a tv series, but I absolutely loved the show and I find out later that it only had one season. This show should have never been cancelled because it had so much potential. Caitlin was my favorite female character on the show and I always wanted them to be together. This video proves how strong their attraction was for each other.

I remember catching this series when Sci-Fi was having a full day marathon of the show. It really was a shame they didn't keep it going. It definitly would have made a fantastic series.
Tash, The Red Boot, and the Spear of Destiny are my favorite Roar episodes...I think because I was such a huge Conor/Catlin shipper...I was so mad when the writers had Conor flirting with Molly in The Cage and other episodes...right after he told Catlin that he loves her...
I do LOVE them together too! There is so much passion in her bright blue eyes and he stares back at her. It's beautiful. They were the perfect couple. Damn I wished they kissed. Been watching Roar online. FOX network are assholes for canceling this show and replacing it with young hercules. WACK!!! This video is beautiful thank you for posting it,

those two were perfect together, I don't know what the directors were doing when they decided not to move forward with their love story, which could have been so amazing but was never told, what a waste,

Does anyone realize how old this show is?...He's like,17 here...I watched it when it was new..
Some have certain whole episodes up. You might be able to find them all by searching around. I plan on putting them up in the future all in one place... at some point but I guess, for now, digging for them will have to do. Sorry!

Yeah sorry to bother you, but I was just wondering since you are a fan of the television series Roar and you posted a comment about purchasing the complete season. Did it end okay? Is it worth buying because I'm a little upset with how episodes 11-13 went. Just want another opinion before I decide to maybe buy it.
