Game 1 : That was the most insane Sunwell value I've ever seen in a match.
That first game's Sunwell was insane. The guy got Counterspell, Equality, Backstab, and Muster for Battle.

@18:00 you can swing with weapon first. lifesteal procs same time as damage. so you dont die when "going below 0" with a lifesteal weapon.

Now this is a deck I will play. I center my entire playstyle around making sure the enemy has no fun at all. Chump is a hero.
the first player just missed the lethal
First one was a 20 minute game where both where constantly throwing, they both agreed to meme. DK had lethal boulder fist ogreing his Hero Power but targeted monkey instead xd
Love seeing these decks, can't wait for some Reno DH action as well in the future :)

I have a chaos gazer deck in wild that also doesn't have the highest winrates but it makes the opponents have a really bad time when they lose. Especially combo doesn't like how chaos gazer is bugged right now. Chaos gazer immediately discards the card instead of them letting them play them for one turn.
Good old rock. Nothing beats that
Very funny to see the contrast from "we play this to annoy our opponents" and "winrate was bad but that's fine" to "let's make more TNT instead of summoning extra 8 drops!" and "that game was miserable".
Fun to watch, but I wouldn't want to play either side of that match.

Boomboss was the card that nearly brought me back into the game. I love hand and deck disruption.

so far in my experience playing boomboss, he destroys a lot of coins, tokens, locations with 1 charge left on board, and maybe the 8th discover card in a mage hand that was discovered by another card earlier. I also managed to have all 3 TNT's go off once against a priest, and he lost 3 finleys (2 of which he thefted from me).
Maybe the greedy bounce version in this video is the way to go, none of the warrior finishers are impactful enough as a 1off

I’ve only run into Boomboss in Duels, where I got whammied by him into newer Malygos to draw the TNT. It was *so* brutal, and I want to do that to others the way it was done to me.

I really don't know why Blast Charge is 3 mana, compared to all the other Excavate class cards and with how limited it ends up being, it should probably be 2 mana

There was a lot of people unironicaly saying that Boomboss was way better than Patchwerk on the card reviews.

Should go full greed and play malygos to draw all the bombs at once
I think making room for Zola+Rock master for infinite Ox should be good.
Zola is another bounce too and Rock Master can copy some rewards or the rush mech.
Boomboss literally needs to read: " Put one on top of your deck " after the text he has. Otherwise it's almost unplayable
in hs the real value of the deck is the misery it inflicts on your opponent. i propose we use it instead of coin.
Dang, the Priest actually lost, because they deactivated their Elise. Also the DK missed lethal with the location on a ghoul :P
god that 10 mana windfury weapon is crazy. 10 mana for 30 damage over 3 turns. blizzard is out of control lol

TNT seems pretty bad considering how much in game 1 you basically threw to try and combo it out...only for the DK to miss lethal multiple times.
9:58 just go for forge and 1 mana weapon and go for either windfurry or battlecry deal damage, you never die on spot and are quite like to save yourself a lotta lifetime :D

I opened boomboss and nothing else at the start of the expansion. I then lost to patchwork once and got just as tilted. I have been playing nothing but this deck on ladder this entire expansion

He's too conservative with Blast Charge. They can be hard to use, so valuing them so much is a misplay. They will just as often just end up unusable in your hand later on, and even if it had 0 value in what it executes, it still gives you the excavate which can be huge.
Honestly i made a deck kinda like this in wild, but i used Augmented Elekk and Boomboss, along with brann, i got super lucky and when i played Elekk the turn before the opponent didn't kill it, i proceeded to play my discounted brann and boomboss, goddamn 12 TNT with 3 cards, hahahah
Got hit with a version of this in Wild, I wasn't expecting it and suddenly my grinder mage deck got hit with like 12 TNTs (I think it was something like 1 tick of Thaurusan into Brann+some shenenigans) after the control warrior power-drew all their deck.
The one true cure to being tilted, making other players suffer 😂

Can you try the infinite combo sometime? If you play Voone and Zola the voone with the Ox in hand you get to repeat next turn till the game ends. I have seen moderate success trying it out, was wondering if it could be viable.

The first game really shows exactly how bad Boomboss is. Chump could've easily won by tempo but instead went for 3 turns of a lot of negative tempo and nearly threw the game that way. Against an opponent who played suboptimally as well.

I'm a huge advocate for decks that win by wasting people's time, even if they lose. That's why I've stuck with Secret/Excavate Mage this meta. It's not the strongest in a sea of overvalued terrible design, but the rage concedes accompanied by hurried friend requests from impotent Redditors have made it worthwhile.
What about Sharp Eyed Seeker (the 3 mana beast) to draw the TNT next turn

A lot of the good warrior cards are just so slow. We haven’t had a solid midrange/long game meta for many years. It’s been all aggro for a long time, and I think that’s mostly because players don’t like the time a game took years ago. Playing against Priest was almost auto concede it was so bad. 15 min + matches were grueling.
why not play Sharp-Eyed Seeker instead of the gaslight gatekeeper?
Probably because it's a dead card until you play the 8mana minion. Gatekeeper can at least help you find it if your hand sucks
