It's commendable that she cleaned up her conscious and life. Dismissing why the father initially rejected her pregnancy is wrong. She didn't know who the father was and sought to pin it on anyone. Her cleaning up her life doesn't change that. She chose to move forward without trying to identify the father. That being said, it is wrong to eradicate a parent out of a child's life especially when they want to participate in parenting. Her father changed too but no grace was given to him.

It wasn't right of Itoro to not allow Offiong to be in his child's life. Sure, he denied the pregnancy was his years ago, but so did all the other men that she slept with. Heck she didn't even know who the father was and was trying to pin the pregnancy on someone.
Also, if it weren't for him donating blood, the girl would have died. She made mistakes and turned over a new leaf and people forgave her, but she didn't want to forgive people who had wronged her and also changed. Very sad.
True. But the fact is that Offiong wants to take the child away from her into his house. He has a wife already so would it be right for Itoro to let go of her child and just be a visitor in the little girl's life?
He went about it wrong and tried to take the child from hey for his selfish reasons though
