I tried this build but with Seer's Presence aura. Imho feel more organic :P And frequency when you just spam Venting Shriek during specials waves is just wonderful.
Really enjoyed this thanks. I haven't used Electrokinetic since levelling up, didn't think about how well it blocks the rest of the horde. (Edit: your positioning and cover-to-cover movements are the real highlight of the video - great to learn from dude) My changes: drop wildfire (which is doing nothing) and quietude for 2 toughness nodes. Warp kills and crits massively outclass quietude and making the toughness pool bigger compounds with your curios and is probably more healing than quietude via that. Seeing as electrokinetic is so fast and stuns, and you are running deflector on your blade, have you considered dropping kinetic deflector? Could go for extra warp charges and peril reduction or for melee attack speed, which also gets a damage reduction node? I find the melee speed is very clutch for the deimos heavy2 combo - much bigger window to pre-empt attacks.
Hi wildfire is good to secure flames stack and give yourself more damage (meme). But honestly when you're the lone psyker wildfire is what makes the difference. It's honestly not a bad node for soulblaze build. I would only consider dropping wildfire when running inferno. I have KD just for safety in havoc. In case I am surrounded and have to block multiple hits at once. It's better to be safe than sorry. If you are never out of position though then KD is not needed and of course you can run more cdr or something else.
@@AgentChaosMeme soulblaze damage doesn't scale linearly - it's an S-shaped curve. 4 stacks does less than half the damage of 6. Warpfire has 3-4m range and spreads 1 stack to 4 targets in the best case. It does work for "on soulblaze kill" talents but is mathematically incapable of doing meaningful damage - including to pox-walkers. Soulblaze gains damage the fastest on the 10th -> 22nd stacks then tapers off. 6 stacks will do a little under 300 damage over the full 8s duration, which doesn't kill anything but will put pox walkers in 1-shot range. In comparison, using the damaging version of venting shriek at near 100% peril, with perfect timing, warp rider and 4 warp charges (true for most times you used it in your vod), will do 200 * 1.16 * 1.38 = 320 - which will 1-shot closer horde entities diminishing as it falls away, but still leaving most things in 1-shot range. Not trying to shoot you down, I just did a bunch of investigation into the actual mechanics. Venting shriek's main benefit is the knock down and peril dump so you can spam staff - it's a really great 1-point ability. I totally understand KD - that was only a "if you want, this has worked for me". I still run KD a whole lot, you have to play differently without it and sometimes die from bad positioning.
Interesting, didn't watch the whole thing yet and send really good. I've been using inferno and trauma for my sb build, will have to try this. Also thoughts on force gs for horde clear?
It's good as a 2nd or 3rd psyker. It fills the vet's role of killing shooters and specials but still doesn't use any ammo. I like force big sword for horde clear it's very strong.
Have some questions: is there a reason why you dont run warp battery? how good is the Deflector perk on the sword? and is this in your opinion the best way to run this kind of build?
I would like to run it but simply ran out of points. Deflector is really good for havoc with how much damage the shooters do. If you are always in bubble though however then it's less needed.
Great job dude. I play on Xbox and I have started using a keyboard and mouse recently. I’m not used to it yet but it feels better than controller. Do you have any videos of how your keyboard is setup.
Hi welcome to mouse and keyboard gaming! It's good idea to play with m+kb anyway even on xbox indeed. Make melee attack a lot easier. As for keybinds it's sort of subjectives. Mines are pretty standward apart from weapon swap I have it as B since I use Q for tagging.
@@GreeenchargerVids No but there are some edits you can do by yourself. Check the comment section on nexus. There's a guy detailing how to make it work and show 21st + mutated enemies.
I have a good feeling a handful of those builds are solely duplicates just so you don't have to changes costumes. I say this because I am guilty of this habit too

@@reszort the bubble psyker should have seers presence so you're free to run elite damage aura

Thank you kind person. ♥
That build is not bad.🤔 I like it 🤗
which scoreboard is that because mine isnt showing kills right
It's ovenproof addon for og scoreboard.
@AgentChaosMeme weird i have it as well but it still doesnt give lesser kills accurately, has it been updated since mid 2024?

Most are just very small variation. Same everything but different melee weapon.
I play illisi when I play surge cuz I gotta have horde clear
@infrared6973 for maelstrom yeah. For havoc I need the single target for the captains
@ yeah i forgot about that lol
