Amare Stoudemire is the prototype...If he doesn't suffer that knee injury... We are talking about maybe the best power forward in NBA history and one of the best scorers ever in NBA history... Dude was absolutely beast mode when healthy...
Amare shooting 3s, running the fast break, dribbling the ball on the perimeter, and taking on a pg? Wow this dude was a beast in highschool. Still a beast today.
Are you kidding??? Thats REEEEEDONKULOUS!!!! Possibly the most dominating HS highlight video performance I ever seen. Imagine how fun that must have been for STAT!!!
the AMAZING STAT AMARE STOUDEMIRE...my favorite NBA player. Where can you see a Power Forward/center play like that? A powerhouse offensive player. Pick & Roll specialist. Who can you compare him? Who can also makes those mid-range jumpers? Good Free throw shooting percentage too. Which ever team you play, your still the best man. Despite your injuries now. Watching him play in this video, making those offensive rebounds & blocking shots, I must say NOT BAD, Defensively...Why many people think Amare didnt contribute much on Defense in the NBA? I think it juz depends on the coach to tell him what to improve or what to do on court.
Crazy thing is, he didn't start playing organizes basketball till the age of 14 and still made it to the NBA straight out of high school smh. He was truly a Man-Child.. Raw ASF.. #STAT 🤙🏾
😂😂😂...Amare had NO PITY or concern for anyone who dared challenged him! Quite possibly THE strongest power-dunker who ever played! I read where Wilt would “ease up” when dunking, so as not to potentially hurt an opponent. W/ Amare...dude simply did not CARE!! If he broke a hand or two on anyone who dared get in his way...he dunked even that much HARDER!! Gotta love his passion!💪👍👊
this was actually recorded last summer .. amare thought it would be a good idea to go back to his high school to help any confidence issues that might arise while playing with the knicks
i have never see domination like this, i mean he just dribbles full court then dunks on someones head. I wish he was still like this like he was in his first few years in the NBA, since his injuries he cant seem to fly anymore, just got a good shot and moves in the post, not many power dunks, blocks or crazy jams off pick and rolls, i miss that Amare as a Phoenix fan.
Yes, but that was last season, you asked him if he had watched the Knicks this season, at the time he had made his comment he couldn't have watched any of this season because at the time it was still last season.
Damn he came a long way before he got hurt. He was very raw offensively but that defense was crazy. Miss him in PHX but I hope he gets better and wins a chip when it's all said and done.
bro listen amare used to play great as a sun. he got a knee injury and that affected his whole career. dont comment on this video saying that he should play like a highschool kid that is younger and not hurt
@DdomOwns I know that... I was just pointing out how NBA players dominate in highschool.... Not all power forwards would be stripped though. Kevin Durant could play PF because he's like 6' 11 but he wouldn't be stripped. I guess I'm an idiot.
bro i go to that school and i have never seen him. he probably is using cgi or something because i think i would remember seeing him cause you know he BIG. but for real though GO CLASS OF 2022
It is a HUGE risk taking high school players in the top ten in the draft. Sometimes they pay off. (Kevin Garnett, Lebron James, Allen Iverson, Dwight Howard. etc.) The the reason why they are so dominate is because they are seven footers going up against centers who are at the most 6'6". You could have a disaster like Kwame Brown, but who can blame him. He is going up against guys his size and stronger than him.
You can tell the age/grade difference between highlights he was young and raw in them first half highlights once it got dark that’s the manchild everybody found out about he started dunking everything
Amare Stoudemire is the prototype...If he doesn't suffer that knee injury... We are talking about maybe the best power forward in NBA history and one of the best scorers ever in NBA history... Dude was absolutely beast mode when healthy...
And would have never left the suns cause they would have paid him that's the only reason they only offered him 80
A man amongst boys...
That was sick!
I remember the day he was drafted.
Proud to claim high school basketball in Central Florida. ;)
Coincidentally Amar'e also played at the same school as Tracy McGrady's Mount Zion Christian Academy. I would love to see him play in that uniform.

Cypress Creek ‘07 stand up. I only got to hear about him dominating Orange County Public School basketball courts.

Those are the most aggressive blocks that I've ever seen from high school athletes. He has great body control on those blocks... Manchild status
yo dude i would have never thought to use this song, it fits perfectly. good choice
Perfect song.
CLEARLY was 100 levels above these guys no doubt, wonder if they knew they were playing against an NBA player 😂😂😂

He made that post 11 months ago, this current season hadn't even started yet, in fact last season hadn't even ended.
Man among boys. Nice mix, great music, both songs.
He was the grant hill of PF. Freakish athleticism, Face-up machines, One of the best all-around players in his position and injury plagued.
Top 5 High School highlight video of an NBA player....Hands down!!!
He might make the NBA one day
best music for any highlight video, ever.
great mix man great mix!!!!
he had to have to average atleast 3 or 4 blocks per game
music fits very well with this video.. this is the song that plays in amare's head
A true well rounded player, Proper sportsmanship, aggression, skill, size, and strength.
Man I can't imagine how cool it would have been just to play against this guy in highschool
i have never see domination like this, i mean he just dribbles full court then dunks on someones head. Nightmare matchup 😰😓
Yes, but that was last season, you asked him if he had watched the Knicks this season, at the time he had made his comment he couldn't have watched any of this season because at the time it was still last season.
the bgm was strangely soothing
I wish he still played like this
His jumpshot has def improved in the nba.. just the form of it
Re-check dude's birth certificate.
omg i was laughin so damn hard this video
It's a beautiful world, on his team!
Stoudemire is such a nice guy, man handling his fallen enemies gently
Damn he came a long way before he got hurt. He was very raw offensively but that defense was crazy. Miss him in PHX but I hope he gets better and wins a chip when it's all said and done.
i think he gets it now.. its like 10 other comments that replied and said the same thing to him...
LOL the plays where ppl crash into him and he's holding them up/helping them out are the best ones.
bro listen amare used to play great as a sun. he got a knee injury and that affected his whole career. dont comment on this video saying that he should play like a highschool kid that is younger and not hurt

interesting choice of song
He had more blocks in those 4 games than his entire NBA career.
so his stats in high school was score: 0 , blocks: 74871914278 per game ?!?
its good to know amare played good defense at one point in his life
Can you do this video with out the music?
ruling the sky back in the highschool
Considering he posted that nearly a year ago prior to last season's ending, no, I doubt he had watched this current season...
Did people in the area realize how good Stoudemire was? The stands weren't too full.
idk how but the music matches perfectly lol
The nasty blocks and the calm music make the video kinda funny
So what happened between this video and now?
wow hes such a different player now
Whats up with the 60s music.
its shaq on the weekends when he was in orlando tryin to pass his self off as a high school kid like the jordan is johnny kilroy commercials lmfao
who seen the commercial of him working out and the guy is like " DONT WORRY KID 1 DAY ULL BE PLAYIN AT MSG"
Lol 2:50 called for a travel. Amare was a beast in high school. Dude had serious handles for 6-11 player.
This is not fair. He is a beast amongst boys.
bro i go to that school and i have never seen him. he probably is using cgi or something because i think i would remember seeing him cause you know he BIG. but for real though GO CLASS OF 2022
yeah i agree but how do i know that you go to that school. i also go there and i have never even heard of you
oh wait that was Me. Does that mean that i am....
AMARE STOUDEMIRE!!!!!!! i ive just never seen a mirror so thats why i never seen me around school
damn he had alot of skill for a big man back then and still does
those blocks are crazy
this is the wrong song for this video but he is def. and still is a beast
Yes....turn the volume off.
so his stats in high school was score: 0 , blocks: 74871914278 ?!?
what song name ?
I like the song choice
Where do you think you are going??
what are the background music thankyou:)
@TheSaloonCostumesme too dude how tall are you im in 8th and im 6 2
Just think how bad those kids feel getting blocked like that.
In highschool a man amongst boys hes averaged 30 ppg 15 rb and 5 blk
These highlights were funny as hell. it looked like he was playing 6th graders and the rim was only 8ft tall.
How tall was Amare in high school?
when he catches those players from falling…now that's sportsmanship. ha

If it were Kobe the title would say "Kobe high school highlights."....but here I am assuming you can read....
Did the other team even score a point?
he was the OG manimal...now he is one injury closer to playing Beijing basketball
did the other team ever score?
have you seen him blocking those kids?
Fierce competitor, but always showed sportsmanship.
"hey team I'm Amare Stoudemire just pass me the ball so I can go to the NBA"
he reminds me of will smith on his basketball episode of fresh prince lol
I started to cry of laughter its so amzing how he blocked like 100000 shots, and the music made it funny
is it me or does he look 8 feet tall against these people?
where's the Yao Ming highschool video? lol
What happened to this defense?
You can tell the age/grade difference between highlights he was young and raw in them first half highlights once it got dark that’s the manchild everybody found out about he started dunking everything
Wow so Amare actually played D in high school huh?
What a wonderful world
Regular people be like "Playing with/against Amare was the worst thing that ever happened to my high school basketball career."
did anyone else notice that on half those blocks they called goaltending anyways
I cant believe that there is a guy on earth who thinks Allen Iverson went to the pros from high school. Where do you live, on Pluto?
was this song chosen because he's playing defense =P
Allen Iverson played two years of college ball at Georgetown...
I cant imagine playing in a high school game against some one scary like that
he dominate these kids. Men amongst boys
what's up wit da song
But can he block the ball?
Imagine hes actually the one getting blocked
are you serious with the music
Looks to me like he scores every single point every single game
