--------
MMA fighter Jorge Masvidal candidly discusses his journey to the UFC and his success. Masvidal's impressive career before UFC led him to believe he was overdue to join the league, but his offers were initially low. He reflects on the question of whether he should have accepted these early offers from UFC or taken the course he did, fighting globally and earning more. Making his UFC debut, Masvidal felt ready for the battles ahead despite the initial jitters and the change of pace the UFC brought. His first major UFC fight took place in 2017 against Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone, which he won. Masvidal highlights the sense of validation he felt after this milestone and his determination to prove he deserved his place in the UFC. - Розваги
Vlad. We need more UFC interviews. So many names to list
Yes
Conor
Dude doesn’t know enough. I feel like he wants a Joe Rogan interview
Jon Jones 🔥
Facts!!!!
Hope people get to meet Jorge in person, such a humble guy, he has been fighting for 20-22 years which is crazy.
Huge masvidal fan. Was always betting on him. Seen him get knocked out by usman at the movie theatre.Devistated, I cried a little😢
His walk out vs Nate Diaz is my favorite fighter walk out of all time. I rewatch it a couple times per year
Jorge was fighting Gilbert Melendez in strikeforce ppl forget how elite he was
I remember Cowboy massacred that Alexander the great dude lol.
who hasn't? That dude has turned into a punching bag.
@@danielmeuler2877he's just a glass cannon
@@danielmeuler2877at the time he was undefeated….
Corrine was awesome. Many many many classic performances! His performances vs Rick story and Mike Perry were some of my favorites
@jacsmith2217 yup. And Alex was talking like a Foonfoosh going into that fight. And the Don beat it shut. And ever since he has been a punching bag. Sort like what happened to Dominick Reyes after the Jones fight. Some how he turned into a pumpkin after he got screwed.
Dade County born and bred. Growing up, EVERYBODY had hands.
Interesting perspective, got me thinking!
About what buddy?
Masvidal got robbed vs Maia. That decision loss cost him a title fight vs Tyron woodley and Jorge matched up well with Tyron
Jorge was definitely a nightmare matchup for Tyron at the time.
He didn’t get robbed watch round 3 again he would have won had he not decided to go for a submission attempt at Maia when Maia tried taking him down
Imagine Conor mcgregor on vlad 😂
One day!
I think Connor would ask for too much money.
Lmao vlad would meet his match when it comes to talking over people 😂 vlad wouldn’t get a word in
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Connor dont like Russians lol jk
Out of all UFC greats Jorge has the perfect balance of humble confidence. Admirable self awareness as well.
Dude was anything but humble during the height of his career 😂
@@ssj4goku18825theepic Your reading comprehension is at a scary low level, huh. You good bud? I put two words together there: humble + confidence. You seem to be mistaking confidence for arrogance, and the only people who struggle with that concept are those who struggle with a life damned to irrelevancy. I hope I made you feel relevant for at least a solid minute by responding to your little comment. Now you officially have one solid minute of relevancy in your life, so build on that. I believe in you.
@@nathanieljames1276 a edited comment and a whole bunch of rambling word salad over one simple comment. Jeez Louis who got you so fumed up son
We need more of these
What do you mean chump?
Much respect to Jorge. Very well spoken and very good job explaining his work and art. It makes it dofestible and very understable
That Cerrone fight was a TKO, Cerrone was fully conscious and on his feet, I seen that fight live
Gotta have the clickbait titles
Cowboy got finished twice in that fight
Cowboy got his ass beat quit sucking his meat
He knocked Cerrone out at the end of the first round too but Herb didn’t call it.
Good grief u clown 🤡
Nice, more UFC interviews would be 🔥
Love these
Cowboy was one of my favorites by far. Super bummed when Jorge beat ‘em but also stoked because it was such a fun build up/contest.
Donald the racist got handled that night looked completely out of his depth.

😆
Interview George st Pierre, bj pen, tank abbott, Matt Hughes, Royce Gracie, Rampage, the Diaz brothers and big John McCarthy those would all be 🔥
Gem interview
The legend masvidal. He made love the UFC along with Amanda nunes 💯💯🔥🔥
Yoooooo Jorge on Vladtv 🔥🔥🔥🔥
To be honest one of my favorites
Then don't be honest fool.
More UFC fighters on here please Vlad🙏
Where the heck is the full interview and why does Vlad always hide the full interviews from us? Please help me somebody,,
Jorge got some of the best UFC og stories
He is indeed very real about himself. That time back then this was the feeling about him, that he's a - much? - better fighter than the results showed. I was happy for him when he finally broke through and got the opportunities he deserved. And actually it happened a bit late, at his prime prime with better stacked cards, he would have been champ.
That boi 305 Chico!!!!
Forget about interviews whit rappers get the ufc guys in here 🎉
Try to get Rampage on Here and do more UFC Stuff
His days are over, better to fight Mike Perry .
I guarantee vlad walks in the bathroom , make sure no one’s looking & throws gang signs says fonem farts then walks out
Wtf man😂😂😂😂😂😂
He kinda looks like he should be called Abdul Masvidal
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
His eye contact is scary
Cuz this dude a real killer lol. All the rappers and celebs VLAD talk to for the most part are all for show. The ones who are killers don’t have their strap on them and VLAD is strapped and has security. Jorge is different, he can kill VLAD with his bare fists and VLAD is infront of him with nobody inbetween
3 parts, someone had to get sucker punched & had their orbital shattered…..❓🤦🏻♂️
More MMA fighters please.
Ma man Jorrrrrge!!
He was holding back those yawns 🤣🙌
Yo this fight made me call him Gamebread
Ma man jorrrrrge!!
The UFC been lowballing people man lmao, this is crazy
If you interview Mirko Cro Cop I think you’d break the internet tbh!
Who?
Can’t wait for Covington to go off on Vlad
Cuban g
MASVIDAL 305
I taught this dude how to fight.I showed Vlad everything.
BODOG was great

1st. Fight i seen of his, was in a backyard against a ufc fighter & I thought this guys a champion. He has ❤ & skill❗
They fight as hard as I do for my $74,000 biweekly return, that's all i can say!!!!❤️
Awesome, Tell me about it!!!!🙏 But these dudes make much of that!
Well, I don't wanna be the one getting my butt kicked that way, most times injured and k*lled

I know that woman (Renee Marie Harrison)
If you were born and raised in new York you'd know too, she's my family's Broker for 3yrs till now and a very good one if you asked me. No doubt she is the one that helped you get where you are!!!!
Thompson is a bad matchup especially then for anybody!
I respect that he doesn't make excuses for his losses and just talks about them objectively.
He’d look delusional if he did that after getting multiple title shots & getting KO LOL after basically saying he’s far better at striking
Generally the guys who do that excuse shit don’t seem to last very long
He was never a good wrestler honestly his only down side but that’s like the main thing in mma to a world class champion being a legit wrestler with his hands sheesh
@@joojoobaw There are plenty of big name MMA fighters who make excuses lol.
@@Miniturehulkfitness Wrestling for MMA isn't as great as it once seemed. Generally speaking, there are always exceptions to the rule, wrestlers get handled now that most people can anti-wrestle. Hell, if they would _finally_ change the rules on the grounded opponent and let people get punished w/ knees for failed take downs, wrestling would be even more useless in MMA. NVM the fact that scoring is more based on damage now.
Jorge is wrong. When he was fighting on the smaller shows, then places like Bodog and in Japan for Sengoku, mma fans around the world were very, very aware of him. Sure, he wasn't a household name yet. But true fans of the sport knew who he was and had a lot of respect for him. I was one of those fans. He did the smart thing by testing the waters outside of the UFC. Sengoku/WVR had awesome rules..and should have been way bigger than it was. After Pride shut down, the market was wide open. Dream and Sengoku should have joined up and competed against the UFC together. Instead, they were opposition, kind like Pride and K1 used to be....and both failed. Rizen is cool. But it isn't like the Pride days.
Dude nobody cares how big a day one fan you are

Jorge must be desperate to stay relevant coming on vladtv
Jorge first big fight was vs Gilbert Melendez at strikeforce for 155 belt
Does it get any more boring than hearing this guy talk. No wonder he was never a champ.
He was the bmf champ casual 😂
Wtf does talking have to do with winning a belt? You don’t beat people in the cage with your words
@@Nozylattenthat wasn't a real belt.
@@jacsmith2217by being good on the mic and by being charismatic you can slingshot your way into a title shot even if you haven't earned it.
@@Smorgasvord he had 2 title shots.
Vlad should interview more top UFC fighters.
Vlad's asking the same exact questions asked by every MMA media puppet at every press conference. You can just watch Ariel's interviews with Jorge and hear the same exact shit. No originality whatsoever.
Buddy got 3 title fights and lost them all what a cry face😂😂😂😂
How many title fights did you get?
I think he got 2…..in the UFC……and he’s a legend by any measure. Look at the sheer amount of fights he’s been in. Just putting that level of durability on display for 20 years is elite
He’s a Hall of Famer for certain
@@davidaldridge5716 yes he is good but hes just a journeyman and if he never beat ben asscream the way he did, there woukd ahve never been no title shots but he can sell a danm ppv he holds number 6 or 7 largest ppv of all time
