I think one of the most helpful tips is “I have exactly what I need for my role”. The part about the trials, challenges, people I meet, etc - being designed for me. It’s crazy to think that G-d hand selects things for my life- from my personality to people I meet. That book I told you about, “Mothers to Mothers” by Julie Hauser touched on this. I’ve been plagued by comparisons. But G-d is showing me from a story in that book, that other people’s lives aren’t MY test. If I copy their test, their “answers”, I will fail because I’m taking a different test/exam. She used an analogy of a teacher handing out different versions of a test or even a test on a totally different topic/subject! You have to keep your eyes on your own test or you will fail! She says “(G-d) shuffles the students and hands out the papers. And then He helps us get through the questions. One at at time…” (Technically it was an insert in her book- the story is by Malky Feig: Making the Mark) I thought that was beautiful.
Also, I love the emphasis of self-worth and having a mission. That G-d made us for a reason and purpose. All these tips were great! A lot of pop psychology in America is very “me” focused too.
I’m so glad G-d allowed us to “meet”! You are a blessing in my life! ❤
    Your friend,
    Karen❤ 🌸 🇺🇸 🇮🇱 🤝 💪 ❤

Ya totally get that, comparison is a real tough one..I'm always amazed when someone can be truly happy for his friend with something he wants so badly for himself.. 😲
Thanks for sharing about the different test analogy, makes so much sense!
Right back at you, I really appreciate our friendship 😊 💕💕

Hello! My belief in God's existence has been very difficult for a long time. I used to be a practicing Christian, but now I don't even know if God's even been there or hearing my prayers. So I stopped. As a result I've been feeling really down. I don't know it's because of my separation from Him, or because I had developed an attachment to the belief of His existence and now the loss of the attachment has led to grief. How do you know what's God's voice? I am desperate.

Dear Cassandra 💕 Having the correct concepts and mindset about god have a lot to do with our well being and mental health. Sometimes when we stop believing it just means we're ready for a deeper understanding of g-d, breaking free of our more childlike understanding of god. 💕
Also another thought, we all have ups and downs in our relationship, sometimes we feel close to him and other times not.
Try praying and I believe you will feel the answer 🙏 and I will also pray that you will find your way 😘

Is your family from Prague? There was a famous Jewish family with the same name and even one street in Prague is called after your name - Maiselova
