Odette is one of those heroes that are just barely outside the meta game, in the sense that she's really only missing a low cd mobility skill. In fact, if memory serves me right, she's the only hero in the game right now that is capable of gaining a shield that exceeds 3000+ points, essentially, you'll need an amount of damage required to kill a fighter just to kill this aoe mage😂
esme, angela can reach 3000+ shield in late game. while mathilda can reach 2000+ shield with only 2 magic item (foto n enchanted) and oracle.
Need a JohnDette combo
But personally i prefer her old ult passive.. she has around 60% damage reduction when using ult..

nah i've been using Odette since 2018, and toxic players underestimate me. LOL
Odette's damage has always pack a punch, even before she had her revamp. Now with the cc immunity on her ult (only heavy cc can stop her ult), she can be pretty hard to deal with.

Odette is very rare pick draft on international competition . But it's not a problem if you know how to use it 😂🔥
Because the sole reason is she's a weaker Pharsa.. That's just it.. why pick Odette if you can pick Pharsa.. that's why nobody wants to pick her in the higher ranked games.. she's not weak as a character.. but a different character can do what she does better.. again.. not a weak character and you can play her even ik high ranks.. she's my go to serious mode character and I usually insta lock her or Eudora whenever I'm on losing streak.. but even I know that Pharsa is just a better version of her.. I'm just more comfortable and happy playing Odette than Pharsa..

According to many fans, there were 2 games that Onic was using experimental drafts against blacklist.
So we can assume the same that Bren is testing drafts and Bren manage to work things out.
Another reason would be Blacklist may be a tougher opponent and that’s why the experimental drafts onic had against blacklist didn’t produce the results they wanted.
But overall Bren looks happy with the results they have and congrats to them! 😊

i dont know why but for some reason odette and benedetta pick is forcing a diggie pick for sys because both of them deals burst damage that will force a time's journey and tigreal set up after ult. So sys picked guin as an alternative to avoid some plays from owgwen

Low HP, slow rotation. Easy to escaping her ult with dash or blink heroes. Quite easy to counter her burst dmg.

She's good but easy to play against unless the player is insanely good or fed. But if you look at the draft...their mm is karrie, shirt range and therefore will be zoned out and won't be able to deal any damage. Joy also doesn't have range and if she stayed inside she will be bursted. So it was a very smart draft

Tigreal Odette is a pretty good combo but the burst-area hero mostly compatible with Johnson,. Can't wait for my fav hero Vale in M5. Whoever plays it, I'll frickin watch the match.

That's an interesting observation! Tigreal and Odette indeed make a strong combo with their crowd control and AOE damage abilities. They can create chaos and dominate team fights. Ps: If you meet Odette, make sure to pick Kadita (Most META), Valentina (Copy her Ult or Airborne Ult, don't try to do any silly stuffs) Nana (PH RG Eternal Midlaner), Vexana, Vale, or Aurora. She is unstoppable in the Midlane.
But for other role, she can be countered by:
1. Jungler Role: Martis, Guinivere, Akai, Ling, Zilong
2. Exp Laners such: Yuzhong, Edith, Benedetta Petrify, Paquito
3. Roamers: Most of them can counter her except HYLOS and Venus Heroes (Except Mathilda)
4. Marksman: Just... Be careful🤣🤣

Bren were definitely experimenting here 😂😂😂 Terizla can easily cancel Odette's ult and since SYS had the last pick they could've picked another airborne hero to cancel it too which they actually did with Guin but Bren still made it work anyway. At least we finally got to see something new here. I'm already getting sick of the Valentina Novaria picks.
