That really meant a lot to us and that was the first tournament we have ever been to. I work in law enforcement and the way things are today it gets very stressful at times. But watching You and the rest of the crew go out here and fish keeps me motivated and my mind off everything that’s happening. I was the one that gave you the NC Highway Patrol patch. Lastly, there was a time when I would never have considered watching a fishing tournament or checking in on the weights during the day; now I can’t say that anymore. I watched as much of the Hartwell tourney as I could and checked the weights all day long. It was an emotional roller coaster. Lol. So now every time my wife fusses about my iPad usage I blame you, Blat, and Castledine. Thanks for what you do-you et al have given a slightly above middle age man a new, fun pastime.

Scott, when I was 7 years old my dad took me fishing off a bridge at Hartwell. I hung into a monster and fought hard for a while trying get him off the bottom. My little Zebco 33 was peeling drag and a crowd gathered to see what the skinny little kid was going to bring up. I was excited and nervous with a group watching. After a long fight and no fish my dad looked over the bridge to find I had hung into an old lantern rope tied around the pier. 🤦♂️

Hey Scott. I fished the tournament also. I lost the fish that would have put me in the top 12 with about a hour to go and I couldn’t find another that big that would hit. I had to throw tons of different baits and colors. No one bait was king. It was tough but fun. Hope to do it again soon. Good luck in the tournament!!
Your a lucky man to do what u love and make a living doing it. I have a small boat but im not complaining, I kinda dig it. I don't go to lot of the lakes I would like to go to. I'm a beast at my home lake but I know it inside out. It's highly pressured but most fish shallow. I fish a lot off shore. It would be fun to try different lakes and see how I do. Bet each lake is it's own beast

I reeled both with my right hand for a long time. I’ve been working on reeling my spinning reel with my left hand since about April. It didn’t feel natural to reel with my left at first though
