This was totally an unexpected find! C151B 685/686 returns to CGL on T101! Our last ever KSFB on CGL was in June 2023, 103 677/678. It's been 11 months! Luckily, this is another Batch 3 KSFB to enter CGL. As of 6pm, it was still running strong.
Overall, the ride was tremendous! With its one-step braking and cold aircon, the ride is really an awesome one! This is also the first time a KSFB was deployed at 5am in the morning since 2021, 102 667/668. This is definitely a day to remember in 2024.
Update: This train successfully ran as the Last Train to CGA and TNM! What an amazing run as it survived the whole day!

Update: 685/686 lasted on until the Last Train to CGA and TNM, making this a successful run!

Yes! This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime sight to see a KSF train do CGL for an ENTIRE DAY, as most of the KSF trains that do CGL often land on T103, the PM slot!😊

685/686 is back for MIA,CAMEO and FD. CONGERT!!😇
At the same time, there were also a number of C151Bs that are also running on the mainline EWL too! This includes 631/632, which is input from UPD to serve EWL for the whole day, as well as 663/664, which has officially returned from MIA today!😊
Additionally, speaking of x85/x86 trains, I hope that the the next R151 to be delivered would be 885/886! Currently, the very last known R151 to be delivered to Singapore was 883/884, according to a video showcasing EMU 884 + carriage 12883 being delivered to TWD.
Fun fact: The trains that are doing full day on CGL are both x85/x86 trains! The other train that was also doing full day on CGL is 085/086!
Lets go first KSFB CGL Run in 2024
If the late 215/216 can survived it's full day service last year without replacement despite having been on CGL multiple times, why can't the KSF do the same? And seeing the non-KHI trains is always (especially on CGL) better especially C151B trains (which is my favourite train model). More KHI really needs to scrap soon (and let those KSF or even KNS trains serve CGL frequently) while the R151 can takeover. Wonder if 685/686 'decides' to be the successor to 215/216 when today's run is successful lol (and after all the C151B are now my 'new successor' to the SIE and KNS trains)

Coincidentially, the train at the opposite platform, which is C151A 533/534, has also returned back from MIA not too long ago! Welccome back to service, 533/534, and to EWL as well!🙂
