Except CSE and IT, no other branches are mentioned in eligibility criteria of Mtech CSE in IITs. It is mentioned CSE equivalent in few IITs, ala unte CSE Specialisations consider chestaru mostly (not sure but). Also guys get in touch with the seniors who are studying in such CSE specialisation courses. Ask them these questions
1. How is it different from CSE
2. What will be mentioned on the degree certificate - CSE or CSE equivalent or that specialisation name.
3. Job opportunities
4. Scope in further studies
Get these questions cleared from seniors and then take the decision.

1) " Except CSE and IT, no other branches are mentioned in eligibility criteria of Mtech CSE in IITs " is this the only reason why u are considering ece> cse (spec), everyone will not get into IIT , if a student believes your words and takes ECE and tries for iit and doesn't get one then he might have wasted his energy learning for ECE subjects
2) and there are good chances that IIT will consider AIML /CSM etc, as cse equivalent . if IIT only consider cse and IT then it will only mention cse and IT why it will specially mention cse equivalent , please don't miss guide students

After cse and IT choice anedi specialization ki velthundi bro endukante ece lo kanna specialization chese vallaki technical knowledge or Ciriculum anedi software side ki relevant untadi so if completely software side vellali anukunte its better to choose specialization instead of ece bcoz coding and ece subjects manage cheydam anedi practically tough task
