Your presentation so true I have been using windsurf for 3 weeks i gess (from the lanch) Is so powerful but you need to be aware what he is doind and guide it a little bit want project became massive I noticed that with massive project, agent start to hallucinate and forget file paths so you need to give them the right directorys on tge first prompt and guide them with some external documentation So you make the job more clear so that you will feal the powerful agent system and have good experience with it Its good for beginners if you are working on a simple back front ends but for multiple servers and complex architecture you need to be aware and always create a backup and try to add a feature at the time , because sometimes he will brock the app and sometimes the change will be irreversible ( in 60% - 80% you can reverse changes ) Good luck everyone 🎉
David, you are the greatest! Just want you to know that you are highly appreciated. Thank you for all your awesome tutorials, they are collections of classics.🎉
Thanks David for this Windsurf intro tutorial. Was waiting for it here in your channel. Whenever possible, please do make an in-depth tutorial preferably doing a "boiler plate" full stack web app using the following: Next.js, TailwindCSS, Shadcn, Clerk (authentication), PostgreSQL (either DigitalOcean / Supabase), Drizzle ORM, Stripe (for payments). I think with these tech-stack integration and developing a boiler plate, we can really see / test how Windsurf compares with the other Big Boys (Cursor / V0 / Bolt / Replit / Lovable). Thanks in advance.
What I want to do, and I assume that a lot of people to, is to refactor my repository that have 25K lines. I feel that I have to almost start from scratch and separte the domain, business, infrastructure, etc.. I also have a good approach and tree structure, how can I join this with my repository and do this massive refactor?? I think that here is the key
@@glasiore5484 I think there's figma plugins that copy all the properties from elements so you could I guess make a design in relume open it in figma and then use that plugin to copy the elements
I’ve try windsurf and it’s not as promising as it sounds. Try to build a simple project from scratch, it worked, but after some time when I’m trying to tweak the codes, it start hallucinating, and producing something else and messing up the original code. To compare with cursor i think cursor is better. I’ve uninstalled it for now, and keep working using cursor. Maybe it’ll improve with time and i’ll will try it again.
Is this paid content? All of these tools, no matter if Windsurf, Cursor, … have weaknesses and of course strengths. I’d expect a more objective comparison between these product incl. their pros and cons.
They are all the same and you can't trust any of them. Like you said, always verify what they suggest plus also keep in mind that many times their suggestions are not the best solutions. And many times, it will get in a repeating loop where you would not notice because it does not repeat that or that, it repeats at a more steps level. Like, this, this this and then it comes back to the first this. Now WindSurf has raised their prices, and it is to a point that it is not worth it. Programmers using AI would be asking between 300 to 500 tasks a day and at their price it is just not worth it. Look for another solution. Cursor is also getting to be expensive for serious work. None should be charging by task count.

Still waiting for o1 Pro with API - and integration in Cursor or Windsurf. Will be blasting!
If the customer is allowed to choose the API they want،like Gemini flash 2.0
Already made 2 client websites with this ai, the future I love it
Great one can you make a video on how to create an actual mobile app with it?
I've been waiting for this. Thanks.
I'd love to see an in-depth video! 🔥
big fan!!
great stuff david
How long is the trial?
11:15 🤣🤣
Since a month already I'm working with it
If you used codeium before in vscode (even for free), you can get early adoper price of $10 instead of 15. For ten dollars it's a steal.
Ai,coffeai on ICP ?
is v0 better compared to this or nah?

It's really hard to keep up with AI news these days... I'm so tired, man. I'm currently using Cursor AI, but now I want to give Windsurf a try. :D
Promise you, it'll be easier sticking with cursor. Plus windsurfs pricing is credits based now and it's weird man just save yourself a headache
@@FactsNoCare I wonder if it is possible to design with Reulme and ask Cursor AI to code it.

i need unlimited Prompt access. Windsurf should make this option

Getting AI to pick whatever to chose for frontend and it picks up vanilla js with html css. Thats a red flag
just write better prompt
If you have a functional hammer and cant hit the nail correctly, 99% of time its not the hammer's fault.
And will you stay subscribed after spending the $15?
Imagin defaulting to their wack LLM on the free mode. I'm never downloading this. I will stick with cursor.
you re uploading videos faster than i m watching them
just be serious dude -.- you are building anything with anything.. making look any app\ide good.. just be realist and make some pros and cons
I built a local host website with this. seems to be good enough for that minimum.
Bro just creates every video a full powerpoint hell nah thats annoying
This dude is just keep yapping.
Grok free for users now, not the best model but pictures are available 😊
