Announcing the Finals Location for XPRIZE Feed the Next Billion

#XPRIZEFeedTheNextBillion finals are almost here, and we’re excited to announce that testing will take place in Abu Dhabi! 🐓🐟 Finalist teams have been working hard on their revolutionary technology to develop chicken breast or fish filet alternatives that replicate or outperform conventional chicken and fish in: access, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, nutrition, as well as taste and texture.
Hosting finals in Abu Dhabi aligns with the UAE’s National Food Security Strategy 2051, which aims to position the UAE as a leader in sustainable food production, diversify food sources, and use modern technologies to enhance local production.
