When I was growing up, my father taught us to respect other people's belongings. If we had done that to our mother's vehicle, Dad would have beat us silly. Plus, Mom wouldn't have allowed it in the first place. These kids and their children have not been taught any respect. But...I do enjoy watching the transformation back into a nice vehicle!
Yeah when my kids were little they were allowed water and non sticky snacks that vacumed up easily. And then put their rubbish in the bin. It's not hard.
Look, you never know what that person's routine is, they might have a tight schedule and allow the kids to eat in the car to make in time for their plans during the day. I know for sure if they didn't care at all about the mess they wouldn't even pay for someone to clean it properly ad these guys are doing, so try and be more respectful when saying things like that. Your father and mother valued personal belongings, maybe this person values other things that take their time and energy.
I can't fathom spending all that money on such a nice car and then treating it like that. There have been a ridiculous number of drinks spilled on that carpet.
Just out of curiosity, what’s your ratio of extreme details to just every day cleaning? Are you seeing a lot more extreme details as opposed to regular upkeep details?
In my case is about "by the end of the week"! In this particular case it looks like the point is around the time when smell and stickiness dirt 💩 go from large spot to large pile... LOL 😂
You guys do a great job. Crayon hack, from a preschool teacher... Use a close iron and no textured cloth. Lay the cloth on the crayon, and iron over it to pull the crayon up.
Many people get extremely mad at the owners of these dirty cars. However, if these cars weren’t so dirty, detailing businesses/channels wouldn’t even exist in the first place
I get that farm trucks are bound to be full of mud, straw and dog hair because they're used as working vehicles, but these cars are just filled with food and trash.
@@rdpcl I wonder, is there a detailing channel for long haul trucks? I suppose most of them are not neglected like that, but someone sitting in the drivers seat day after day has got to make them dirty.
Just because something creates a beneficial necessity for some does not mean it is good or should be done. The owners of this vehicle are bordering on child neglect/abuse for putting their children in that disgusting dumpster on wheels; even though it's the children creating the mess, that's their parents' failure for not caring enough and raising them to be clean and respectful.
You guys have some of the best extraction clips. Thanks for not speeding them up too much or cutting them short, but showing how thorough you have to be for getting carpets and floormats completely clean. Definitely the best part of the vids.
Just a suggestion for you guys; I find when there are things stuck in the carpet fibers and you just need to basically “remove the tangles”, I find a “Marvy Shampoo Brush” or a “Tangle Teaser” hair brush works great. Especially when working to break up wax/crayon/tar (with some heat &/or steam) or small spots of paint drops or drywall ‘mud’. Just go a little easy with them or you’ll just take the fibers right out! Lol.
You guys are the best I’ve seen! Once again it’s another amazing detail. You make the owners fall in love with their vehicle again. The music was so fitting during that vacuum session because it was a relief to watch all that trash get sucked away. Wish we could use that vacuum on 2020 😂
Above all the detailer i’m watching on you tube. For me you’re the best one. I never seen any of them removing the sits or totally removing the carpet floor to clean it properly. Yup! You’re the best
Love to watch your videos. For future reference, to get crayons out of carpet and fabric, all you need are an iron and brown paper bags. The iron melts the wax the crayons are made of and the bags absorb the wax. I'm talking the paper grocery bags because they are thick. This trick has worked for many years.
My mom was single mom of 5 kids. By all means our car could’ve end up looking like this. But instead she made it our responsibility to wash and vacuum our family car. You’d be surprised how clean children can keep a car if they’re in charge.
I heard a life hack for crayons is too actually use a hair dryer and melt the crayon into a liquid again and then wipe up the liquid. So maybe try that. Melt the crayon and use the extractor to get the crayon oil out.
I've had to get candle wax out of carpet at church from the acolytes. I used a brown paper bag and an iron. I wonder if that too would work for crayons?
I was going to ask the same question. It looks like a mixture of coffee chocolate milk and milkshakes. Did this person fling Their coffee all over the car?
I also love the work you guys do! Quick question as someone interested in detailing, is there a reason you chose to use just the extractor and drill brush on some of the carpets instead of pressure washing and extraction? Would that take to long to dry?
23:09 - Before you go at it with cleaners, take a dull knife or a credit card and scrape away at it before getting it wet. You can also use a bag of ice cubes to chill the crayon so it breaks away easier. Once you do the dry/chilled physical removal, take some dawn dish soap and do your scrub brush method and the remainder should come out a ton easier then what you are doing now. YMMV but if it works as good as it does on fabric you should be done in a jiffy!
The key is removing as much as you can with the knife/card when its cold and dry, then using *dawn dish soap* which helps break the tension between crayon and carpet fibers. Let us know how it worked out if you give this a try next time you come across melted crayon in the floor carpet/seats. *_Best of luck bro!_*

I was thinking the steamer would have been perfect for the crayons. Then, I heard you say it broke while doing the panels. :)
I was taught that for candles that may have spilled onto carpet that an iron and paper towels was your friend.
Emilee Bacon paper towels or brown paper bag. I spilled candle wax on my carpet once and used an iron and brown paper bags.
