houston vlog 2

when I was a littler kid, we would go down to Houston on cultural, family business. One of the surest memories I hold is of my sisters and I sitting in the second row of our mom's Toyota Sequoia, trash bags over our knees as we ate jelly sandwiches, the stones lining the sides of a Houston highway bearing Texas's insignia on them, and my sister and I in our summer dress, a double strapped salmon colored dress that we had a replica of in blue (consequently called our winter dress).
Truth be told, the trash bags and sandwiches memory was probably for our drive to Florida, something my parents tell me never happened but I swear on it...simply because I saw a Florida license plate at the rental car center.
Now that I'm old enough to document my memories, it feels surreal that the same city I knew for its palm trees and sticky air is one that holds people I've come to care about and people I no longer speak to. This is the second Houston vlog, because the first is still incubating on my computer. I hope you enjoy, and I will see you fairly soon. I promise :)
