Ekobox is a system that mimics nature. Mimics the way forests grow spontaneously in nature. Ekobox is a plant support unit that teaches plants to meet their water needs by using water in the micro-pores beneath the soil. At the first installation of the Ekobox, 16 liters of water is added and a cycle is started.
Subsequently, Ekobox lowers the surface temperature of the soil by means of water transmitted from the wick to the soil, prevents evaporation caused by sun rays and prevents water loss of the soil. It plays a major role in keeping soil temperature in balance.
The wick reduces or completely cuts off the water flow when the soil reaches sufficient moisture; When the soil becomes hygroscopic by drying, ie when it dries, water flow from the wick increases. In short, the roving works like a valve. The root collar of the plant planted with Ekobox does not dry out. It eliminates the problem that the plant roots caused by excessive irrigation cannot get enough air and nutrients. It encourages seedlings to primary roots and prevents seedlings from becoming lazy. It eliminates the problem of decaying plant roots and increasing soil salinity due to excessive irrigation. Ekobox, The plant keeps the soil around the root regularly cool and ensures the continuity of the capillary canals. These conditions provided by Ekobox increase the accumulation of capillary density under the ground. Ekobox creates an environment that activates the water in the micro-pores of the soil beneath it (capillary effect) and a water column forms in the soil below it. This water column expands deeper and increases the water density. Seedlings follow this capillary column and meet the need with the water provided by this water source formed under the ground. This system encourages the plant to make primary roots. Thus, it allows the cultivation of centuries-old trees that are not dependent on human beings and that grow their fruit by feeding from this source. Ekobox, provides water with condensation due to differences temperature inside and outside the reservoir day and night. It produces an average of 1 tablespoon of water per day. (approx 25 ml) It also reinforces itself by water harvesting from all kinds of precipitation. After filling the Ekobox once and starting the cycle, water will not be needed again. (Can be filled twice in the first year under extreme marginal conditions.)
We conducted scientific experiments with 6 different universities and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Turkey. We experimented with the universities and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in the most marginalized areas, which are desertified, wind erosion. (Karapınar district of Konya province and Aralık district of Iğdır province) We also abroad observed Ekobox by experimenting in Cyprus and Palestine. The feedback we received from all these experiments showed that our success rate was 98% on average. Some of the plants we experiment with are;
