Top notch ... you are like a drug ... you make me think I'm a much better player than I really am ... your a magician who helps me delude myself ... best muso channel on YT
I've been searching for Backing Tracks that I love for years. And I swear to god this is by far the best backing tracks I've ever experienced in my life. absolutely phenomenal
@@nowyoushred yeah it was amazing...so I'm actually a street performer, and I'm wondering. Do you sell these? Like I just want to take a video of myself playing along to this which would be coming out of my guitar amp via Bluetooth. New to all this and am trying to collect backing tracks. Thanks!
I’ll say it again, I’m really digging your tracks the last few months. I was about to set my guitar on fire🔥 but I snapped out if it at the last second.
Thank you a thousand times for these backing tracks which make me rediscover the pleasure of playing. And those in Am force me (and it is good) to revise the forms of the pentatonic scale. Then we'll shift 😉
Excellent work on this track! 🌟🎸🇺🇸 And now another one of our collaborations is now online 🌟🎸🇺🇸 Thank you again and I hope that you like the recording! 🌟🎸🇺🇸 Have a great week! 🌟🎸🇺🇸
This is great for soloing on the 5th fret then up to 17th because literally every note in the blues scale sounds good because all the notes in the bass line are in that scale so you don’t have to jump around
Great track but it's not fully in minor cause that last D major chord has a F# making it Dorian - so switch over when it comes to that chord. Sounds really cool to focus on that note
I’ve no doubt this is a stupid question but.. I only know the pentatonic scale so can recognise that on this. What are the other colours and how do they ‘combine’ with pentatonic or why
@@PB-guitar not a stupid question! in improvisation there is what is referred to as playing “modally” which is when you play one scale over a set of chord changes (such as playing a minor pentatonic over these chords). there is also what’s referred to as “playing the changes” which is where you switch the scale you’re using depending on the chord that is being played. so for example if you played the notes from a G scale over a G chord and so on and so forth. playing changes is very common in jazz! hope that made sense and maybe helped a little bit!! :)
Don't get me wrong. Frusciante is my all time favorite. But the last two albums were "just made" and I unfortunately wished I bought the cds rather than pay vinyl price, considering noone anymore really has a decent record player anymore balanced out and shit like my hippie parents once had.... I wonder what klinghoffer was all mad about when he was saying he's not mad at frusciante, but the music the band made with him that was unreleased was waaaaay better? I want another Blood Sugar album BUT I doubt they can do that again since all their testerone is dropping these days?

Dude I feel like a rockstar😂🤙🏼
I was planning on a comment like this ..... Well if there's no need now 😂
I have a similar experience, I be jamming, in the zone! Then playback happens and it doesn't sound like what I heard while...jammin!
That applause at the end hit different
Real!

Thanks so much!!
This channel makes the best backing track videos. Not only is the music great, but the visual aids are really well done & educational.
Thanks, be sure to make a free or premium account at Alphajams.com
Fading into stars at the end is really cool, Jimi would love that!
I think you might be the first person to comment about that! Thanks
@@nowyoushred Welcome!
Glad the algorithm finally let this channel through. Its just solid as hell
Haha, kinda - I’ve been “encouraging “ the algorithm by posting almost every day… we’ll see what that does
Best backing track I’ve found so far! Love the sound and the visuals 10/10.
Glad you like it! Keep your eyes peeled for the Alphjams app coming soon!
You have no idea how much I love this backing Track!!! I'm having so much fun. Experimenting with it and tweaking parts around from a m to C Major
Awesome!!
This came on randomly during my jam and it was my viiiiibe! Yoooooo! thank you my dude

This guy makes the best tracks i’ve ever heard. Definitely subbing.

The applause 👏 at the end perfect, thanks
Haha glad you like it! That has been controversial in the past lol

I'm just happy standing next to the fire...
It’s got that All of my love -Zeppelin vibe as well . Was real hard to not tho some lime from that in
Absolutely in love with your backing track! (As a guitar teacher)
Thanks, Dennis! Have you checked out 🎸ALPHA JAMS yet? Alphajams.com I am a guitar teacher too, and I basically designed my dream tool.

Glad to hear it!
Very nice! I enjoyed the feel of playing some Jimi style blues but with the added dimension of natural minor, good fun!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome work as always man. Love it. Peace.
Nice! Great Jam. Really good production. High quality music.
Thank you so very much. This is amazing. Great to jam with.
One of the best channels on YT
Thanks man!
Woodstock, Hey Baby vibe... 🔥🔥🔥

@@nowyoushred Thanks! 🌟🎸🇺🇸🤘
Great backing track, reminds me of Blue Oyster Cult Then Came The Last Days Of May.
Great track!
thanks!
future classic loved it
This is great for soloing on the 5th fret then up to 17th because literally every note in the blues scale sounds good because all the notes in the bass line are in that scale so you don’t have to jump around
Except F isn’t in the a minor blues scale.
Bend the F to F#, choke out and release.
Hendrix? This is the end of Stairway in chords (minus the throwaway D), timing, and feel! Even the drum fill screams a minor Bonham impression.
That too! I think I was thinking about a baby for this
Thx for this ❤
Really like this
Love this one aswell. thank you.
Thanks!
great track man, thanks!
Love this on my .13 guage down tuned C#
He uses this exact chord prog in Hey Baby (New Rising Sun). One of his most underrated songs for sure
Agreed!
i,m digging this track😎
love it, thanks man
KILLER!
Hey Baby, Where Do You Come From?
She Looked at me and Smiled and Looked Into Space
I'm Coming from a Land of a New Rising Sun
Yeah man
i had to think about it first but dude it hit me and i instantly turned on hey baby😂
Nice one.. Hey baby..
Hey gypsy lady! Can I step into your world a while? "Yes you can" she said, "come back with me for a while"
It's the riff from Hey baby
echo reverb inside drummy OMG!!! ^^
Great track but it's not fully in minor cause that last D major chord has a F# making it Dorian - so switch over when it comes to that chord. Sounds really cool to focus on that note
I mean, minor in the key sense, not the Aeolian mode
Very good
Awesome!
thanks a lot !!!!!!!that?s awesome!!!!!!
It's really in the key of C and the progression is VI V IV II Rock on
Wow really? Ok theory daddy. 😂
If I am a new player do I google scales in the key and used that to work on my improv? Thank you for your videos!
Why don’t you use the Scales on the video right here?
Niice!
Thanks!!
good, good, good..that's understood..
Yes, thanks
Anybody who saw Jimi Live at Berkeley should be familiar with this extended jam towards the end of the movie.
Need to watch that again
what effect is that synth playing the chords that drops in and out? such a good track
Man, that was a long time ago, but its probably UAD Studio D chorus. That thing is magic
guys try playing over this in d minor holy shit you won’t regret it
Whatever floats your boat, my friend
And she is buying a stairway to heaven...
Watchtower
Hey Baby: Released October 1971
Stairway: Released November 1971
I think Hendrix has this one fellas.

who knows'?
Sounds more like Sly Stone than Hendrix
Well, I’ll take that as a compliment!
dope as fuck bro

Ok
lml
Nobody hears Red Hot Chile Peppers???
Yeah, I hear they were “slightly” influenced by Jimi
30s of pub it's abused
this isnt really the vibe of Hendrix.
Thank you for your astute observation
👍🏼
HENDRIX???? NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Lol, ok bro
Listen to Hey Baby (new rising sun)
