I haven't lived in Middletown for many years, but it has always held a very special place in my heart. No other place like it. I was finally able to see at :42 that my childhood home looks like it survived. I am so happy it is my understanding that it was built in the late 1800s and was originally a feed store. I remember that it had square nails it was so old. With so much that was lost I am glad that a little bit of Middletown history will remain standing.
I live in this wonderful town of Middletown. So heartbroken for all those affected by this horrific fire. Cobb Mountain, Anderson Springs & Hidden Valley Lake also devastated by this fire.
I feel bad for all those people who lost everything I know how they feel I drove through Middletown the other day it didn't look as bad but seeing the devastation from the air puts into perspective
Great over view look I haven't seen since the fire. For us locals I would appreciate a note detailing where the shots are from. I recognized most, but a couple I'm not too sure about. Thanks
Nice images, but that was still an active fire on the day you published this, with fire aircraft still working on the fire. Irresponsible UAV use endangers firefighters and the public. Please be more responsible in the future.
+N MC Cal Fire and many other similar organisations have a policy where they don't fly if drones are in the air. You are right, but the policy is there.

Thank you to all of the firefighters who kept the fire away from the rest of the county
Good tribute guys. Beautiful piano playing too! Who was that you should give them credit.

Search "If you fly, we can't! PSA" for a video on UAVs over fires.
That was beautiful and horrible at the same time...Thank you for that
:( we had to evacuate our home but I feel so bad for the ones who got burned
You have to be impressed with mother nature--even at its most demonic.
