Hearing Iroha struggling to hold it together did the initial damage, and then La+ really opened the flood gates at the end. It really gave an insight into the relationships behind the scenes, and how close these girls really were not just as HoloX but as the humans behind the screen, at a point where it was no longer about hololive, but about friends and work colleagues heartbroken and saying goodbye. Thing is out of all members, Iroha is the most likely to break down and let the tears flow in. There's also the fact she probably felt guilt over postponing this anniversary, something she brings up on her letter, due to her voice condition back in November. It's really heartwarming to see they were able to celebrate it in the end with all 5 members. But the fact even Laplus was unable to hold it back anymore shows just how big this moment truly is. Contrary to her appearance, irl young age and overall bratty, airheaded behavior, she's one of the more emotionally mature, supportive and sincere members and always keeps things cheerful and easygoing for the audience. They left her for last not only because she's the leader but also because she's great at adding levity to the situation with her quips, which kinda worked here too but in the end, it was too much. Needless to say, holoX will always be my favorite gen and I'll forever be thankful towards them for undirectly but unironically helping me staying a bit more positive about life. 💜🤎🩷❤💚
right, i dont know to word it right but even i always loved their bond, i always feared that it was just entertainment and they didnt were good friends (which would i respect, we know they are idols in the large meaning of the word, anyway) but i always felt it was somehow true and this live was just the most heartbreaking thing ever, you can feel in their words, in their tears, in the little giggles between all that their bond is so genuine, i will always, always love and support them to the moon and beyond

My gen personally being gamers, the doggo dragged me in and the fbking kept me fighting in hard times (so yeah, Sukonbu) and their bonds are always just so charming, but the rare times I've caught a Lui stream or seen a clip of Iroha losing her shit over suisei, even with today being the first time I saw them as a 5, I could absolutely see the charm in HoloX. Lap as much as people joke is probably the best "captain" of the gen truthfully. Her persona definitely plays off of the bratty nature, but theres been points ive seen her true self slip out and you realise theres a lot more to her. I'll definitely continue to watch Lui, and I'll be starting to branch out to the others no doubt. Even if I'm too late, Chloe's included in that.

Even things like Korone's debut and Gamers coming to the rescue just really give you a sense of comradery that these people playing games together are truly doing it because they want to, and that they'd probably be doing the same with or without the camera.

But with that, when time comes for one to move on, man that stings how much is lost when one star goes away. It's not because they themselves are gone, but because there will be no more memories and enjoyable moments with their presence absent. Chloe was the first HoloX member I saw and I instantly took a liking to her. The appearance, the mask, the mystery behind her. She was a great first impression. Then I saw clips, especially from her debut, and knew that she was going to be my favorite from HoloX. Eventually I discovered Lui, Laplus, Koyori and Iroha, but Chloe was always my no. 1 and over time that generation became my favorite. Think about it: a group of would be villains bent on world domination being the most lovable goof balls out there. It's like the dynamic with Lupin III. Lupin and his gang are clearly bad, but they're so likeable you can't help but cheer for them. That's what HoloX felt like when they were together. I always know that eventually these girls are going to leave and do something else, but I never thought it'd be the stinky orca who'd be the first from this group to do so. Timezones and the language barrier prevented me from following her more than I wished, yet i will still cherish what little memories I have with her that I have. Chloe was the first HoloX member I saw and I instantly took a liking to her. The appearance, the mask, the mystery behind her. She was a great first impression. Then I saw clips, especially from her debut, and knew that she was going to be my favorite from HoloX. Eventually I discovered Lui, Laplus, Koyori and Iroha, but Chloe was always my no. 1 and over time that generation became my favorite. Think about it: a group of would be villains bent on world domination being the most lovable goof balls out there. It's like the dynamic with Lupin III. Lupin and his gang are clearly bad, but they're so likeable you can't help but cheer for them. That's what HoloX felt like when they were together.
I always know that eventually these girls are going to leave and do something else, but I never thought it'd be the stinky orca who'd be the first from this group to do so. Timezones and the language barrier prevented me from following her more than I wished, yet i will still cherish what little memories I have with her that I have. Thank you, Chloe, and I wish you success wherever you go from here.
Came back here after the news that a fan bought a naming right for a star in the pisces constellation and named the star "Sakamata Chloe". Whenever we missed her, look for the pisces constellation, she'll be there among the stars. ❤

Fck this reminding me again at coco's grad where watame cried and others of gen 4 and ame when kroni cried during stream, and last Minecraft stream of aqua where pekora cried and fauna where bae broke to tears and on mel's termination where the rest of Gen 1 broke down like matsuri cried a lot and fubuki having a dark time when suisei and miko helped her 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
