Great video! Now I just gotta figure out why the heck my mods are falling so short. But believe you me... I will break into the next number of tens of thousands soon.
A legendary weapon fragment from another weapon (ex: DE.50 - Jaws) would give 30 xp, but if it's from the same weapon it gives double xp for the purpose of lvling up blueprints. An Epic weapon fragment would give 10 xp. So while buying the 2k epic pistols would be better than buying the 8k DE.50 - Jaws ,for lvling up a last valor blueprint the best thing to buy would be more last valor.
Fateful strike is a must have with Shrapnel Souvenir and the weighting mod, you can reach the point where you literally have infinite magazine even on the dummy. Also for that build i'd recommend Beret, more consistent bullet refund procs.
'triggers' and shrapnel 'hits' are 2 different things. Beret does not increase triggers. It just applies more shrapnel 'hits'. Simply put, normaly a trigger procs 1 shrapnel hit, but beret adds +1 hit. therefore thats 100% damage increase. Gas mask doesnt add an aditional hit, but increases the damage by 120%. so obvious gas mask has a 20% higher damage output over beret.
+100% weakspot weight reads exactly as it should. if the default is a 10% chance for shrapnel to hit a weakspot the mod would make it 20%, aka a 100% increase. making that 10 up just for easy math but its perfectly clear.
finally found an honest guide who shows the real damage with multiple mags and not just a one mag dump like all the others out there who just go look at my dps lol. Great video it's basically my build and i'm on the eu servers waiting for pro to open and i have a question you are using canned meat for your food buff but wouldn't the bread be a better buff giving 25% weapon damage ?
ngl I haven't seen the bread. I tested the shrapnel damage from the canned meat and it is a muliplicative bonus. all separate from gas helmet and obliterate. I don't know why. With that being said I'd have to crunch some numbers to see if 25% from bread is better. We don't always trigger shrapnel either. It's hard when there's so many different factors from memetics cradle too lol
I have 4p Lone, 1p Bast and the Berret, really good mods all fully upgraded everyone has crit dmg and 80% of them dmg to great ones. All blueprints 1* still as you dont want to upgrade anything until you see season 2 recipes so don't do it, like not even once. Anyway, Target dummy sustained DPS of 57k with not a single reload (something is happening that's making something do insane dps I am sure one of the mods is broken) using the unlimited clip set up, bosses well over 100k litrally have max rolled boss dmg on most mods. I am missing maybe 4 BIS secondary single stats on some mods which I have more chance god shows up and say 'ow hi I am actually real' Orange ammo used, Purple ammo netted me 51k on dummy. Deviant was wolf, and tactical was ofc used. Great thing about this game is so many weapon builds work really well, UB is amazing, Frost is awesome, Shock absolutely rips! I feel a lot of the builds are all super fun and super strong.
Pretty sure the shrapnel hit weight thing is not priority for hitting weakspots, but rather how hard the shrapnel hits the weakspot. As seen when testing at 10:17, your weakspot shrapnel hits for 1700 something. Then, when testing the Carnage mod at 15:55, your weakspot shrapnel hits for 2200 something. So there could be a very interesting build with Carnage and weakspot damage :)
@@Mio-- again, explain to me how you think “shrapnel hit weight” means weakspot priority? I even looked back at the footage, and he does not get any more shrapnel weakspot hits with the mod on, than without. Only thing that changes is how much damage the weakspot shrapnel does.
i havent really tried this game more but from what ive seen with all the different build options it seems neat, shrapnel i feel like is pretty underused in games so its cool you can dedicate whole builds to it also hi thicc hi hiiii :3
It's because shrapnel was so brokenly powerful in beta 2 with div-evo that nothing came even remotely close to it, and it pissed a lot of people off. So now it feels like it's under the other options, but still viable.
Thanks for the in depth analysis. It looks like the gas mask definitely helps the explosive shrapnel build. I'm using souvenir right now, can top out around 50k on the dummy. It's definitely a sustained DPS build more than a burst build, and you have to get accustomed to aiming at the body (not weakspots) so the 100% weakspot weight mod triggers on the weakspot. Let me say weakspot some more. It's definitely a different way to play. I put up a video of my build on my channel doing hard mode treant with the build with about 40% base crit and 100% crit damage, so I'm missing A LOT of base crit damage, but still managed to melt the boss in 15 seconds.
@@thiccfila Are you using a different calibration on your Last Valor? Not sure if I missed it in the vid. I'm running a Rapid Shot Style which gives 20% fire rate but -10% attack. I'm not sure if that is better or the Precision Style which gives -10% fire rate but 20% attack. I'm also curious what your base stats are with your explosive shrapnel build. You melted Treant in a magazine lol
@@thiccfila I have a fast fire setup with double crit, bastille boots and beret with falcon set, all I have mod wise is shrap souvenir on the gun, shrapnel carnage on mask, fateful strike on helmet as shrapnel is NOT affected as you know, and it double-scalars multiplicatively instead of additively with crit, crit boost on gloves, deadshot on pants, covered advance on shoes, remember that you picked reload and mag size perks on your setup which is completely invalidated by shrapnel souvenir which with a 80 round mag can easily fire 500 rounds before reloading if you don't miss, all of my mods have weapon damage, status damage, damage to great ones, and mag size, i get 120k on the dummy after bullseye crossbow and can fire for over a minute without reloading, every boss dies minus arachsiam dies insanely fast, beret is absolutely better for both burst and duration dps when you have sharpnel souvenir in the mix, without souvenir your build is better, it's critical to making the infinite ammo scaling damage actually loop.
@@meowxeno Have almost an identical setup to yours, only difference is using lonewolf instead of falcon and I seem to get a similar 120-130k. Always top damage in any group content as well. The Multiplicative DMG stacking goes crazy.
A few questions. You say all mods tested. That is not true at all from what I have seen of your video. You seem to advise using mods that you have found rather than ones that are better that you just have not found/aquired yet is this true? You say the bonuses on the crossbow mod for bullseye does not matter but this is also not true. My 12% reload speed says otherwise. You are using precision mods that are weakspot rather than violent which are crit specific which is better for shrapnel yes? Many questions which would be nice to be answered, cheers.
It might be somewhere, but do you have a list of the names of each piece of armor itself and where to get? Like, I can catch a few of the names, I could not tell what set the pants were from. I also can't find where to get that gas mask version, the shop only has the hood version, which is not the same ability. This could be due to the server I am on, as we are only on week 3, but the wish games don't cover the helmet from what I can tell and I have no idea if it is with a vendor or not. Thanks in advance. Edit: Also, does having a mod on your melee weapon help stats at all?
Great vid. I must ask though, why are you comparing DPS on the Shrapnel Souvenir build? The proc doesn't increase your DPS gain, but rather your sustain. As a result, wouldn't it be better to test your DPM comparison?
If you’re high crit, the beret hits 4 shrapnel Cage helm only hits 3 shrapnel on crit Gas mask hits 3 on crit I believe the overall calculations ended with cage helm as weakest, then beret, and finally gas mask as 10% stronger than beret
I think due to mistranslations people aren't testing the CAGE helmet but I believe the cage should do more since the actual translation for SOCR - Last Valor is Shrapnel on every fourth hit not 4% with crits counting as two hits. CAGE adds +1 to Trigger count meaning you have shrapnel on every 2 hits
Im actually using Cage,what it does is, doing 2 sharpnel like beret, but it count 2 times for the explosion mod(from the mask) meaning it procs every 10 times instead of 20. Way better for pvp and maybe even for pve
I run a very similar build with targeted strike instead of explosive shrapnel (with beret). The dummy dps caps out around 70k. A bit more burst but suffers in heavy sustain scenarios (these currently don't exist afaik). With so many bosses having immunity phases, there's always time to reload the xbow to be ready for the next phase.
I actually started using the blue bulls eye shotgun, which doesnt get crit rate but applies bulls eye more consistently and more frequently, im using that mask mod now. i didnt like it with the bow because i dont think i apply it enough
Hey Awesome build!. got a question if you use fateful strike and then recurve crossbow does that negate the effect since you can no longer hit weakspot?
My preference is the KAM Pioneer over the SOCR imo. Mostly just because my KAM has a maxed out blueprint and I like the 30% shrapnel chance / 60% shrapnel damage buff it has
A lot of people talk about the purple SMG, but that assault rifle caught my eye honestly. When I tried it on the dummy it wasn't even near the DPS of the SOCR. I think SOCR being able to get more shrapnel based on crit rate is insane, since you can manipulate it with good mods. However, I'm willing to go try it more, it looks cool.
@@thiccfila To be clear, he's talking about the AR Pioneer. Same weapon type as the Last Valour, but the blue one. Div-evo is the purple SMG shrapnel weapon.
Yeah what navy said. It's the blue rarity AK. That being said my blueprint is maxed out so the damage difference isn't huge compared to my 2 star SOCR blueprint, plus I get 10 more rounds in the mag
Have you tried Caibration BPs? I'm torn between Rapid Shot and Precision. But when I tried Rapid Shot on the Last Valor, my DPS increased noticeably to 70k whereas it only reached around 60k with Precision. Both Calibrations are 2x Crit Rate. Dunno maybe you have different results.
it increases triggers. so it works with explosive shrapnel making it only need 10 triggers to proc instead of 20. with the current mods its the worst choice
I finally got Shrapnel Souvenir to drop and added it to my build. My overall damage for hard mode instances went from around 600k to almost 2 million. Not having to constantly reload is unreal. You just don't realize how much overall dps you lose because of reloading. Yes you will do more burst damage but when you are doing boss fights and you don't have to constantly reload it really makes a difference. Not to mention that if you happen to have to do a dodge roll during a boss fight and you are reloading then it interrupts the reload. In real world playing I think Souvenir wins hands down. My opinion but if you happen to get it to drop try it out, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Oh, and looking at your numbers again if you look at total damage between reloads you are doing very close to double the overall damage per reload with Souvenir. Now unless you are taking down hard mode, or pro mode bosses in less than a minute I think having to reload less often and doing more consistent damage overall is much better, in my humble opinion ;)
as someone have who have just played the game for what it's and not farmed or such, aiming for next reset to get bp for the scar. and the crossbow mod and the rest of the mods can it drop from normal? just takes longer time? until i get better gear.
Id honestly say ,dont bother ,all other meta builds are stronger then Shrapnel at this moment. Maybe it changes next season but for now its the weakest.
You'd lose a lot of crit. It's 30% from the recurve bow. Without it you'd have to give up Explosive Shrapnel to get 10% crit hitting marked enemies on your mask. And probably take the 15% crit glove mode rather than 10% crit with crit DMG. And also the no weakspot damage for 10% crit. In this way, you'd only be missing 5% of the crit he's using in this build. The question is how much the crit dmg would be closing the gap? The weakspot boost would be wasted on Bingo with the helm taking away weakspot damage. But you'd get a gauranteed bullseye on weapon swap. And sniper would be more use than just bossing. There is also the question of "good" enough. If you can kill a boss in 18 seconds rather than 14 seconds. That could be "good enough" for you.
just got the last mod I was looking for but I run a similar build but I don't have the gas mask so I'm using beret, I use shrapnel souvnir, fateful strike, shrapnel carnage, crit boost, covered advance and deadshot all violent, all mods maxxed, 4 piece lonewolf with 1 piece bastelle all 6/6 i top out at 66k with wolf proc and crossbow, about 1.7M damage done after wolf ends. Not really sure if the gas mask would actually do more in my setup or not though tbh
@@NehemiahTheVampire93 Thank you for the details! I have enhanced my mods to 5/5 too. I hit 50% crit rate, 110 crit dmg, and my base dmg is 510 ish. I’m maxing out at 30K DPS. Still only half of your DPS.
Once you buy outright from the Wish Shop, that item becomes "owned" and you cannot buy another copy. I also believe it unlocks the BP, and not fragments. So no getting frags to level that way.
@@crimesguy That's not what we're talking about. He said specifically to aim for buying multiple copies of gun from the shop (G on the machine, not F). Which is quite clear by my explanation that you replied to.
DO NOT buy those pistols to feed to your rifle. When you buy them flat out like that, it does not give you fragments, it gives you the blueprint pre-fused. You can only purchase them flat out like that one time for this very reason.
There's a mask mod called Targeted strike that adds 10% crit rate and 25% crit dmg to marked enemies. Have you done any testing to see if explosive shrapnel is better?
depends if you want general gameplay or boss bursting. You can reach 110k dps with shrapnel using Targeted strike. (on the dummy, its more against bosses)
Sup! What calibration attribute on weapon? I got the one with 60% mag -30% reload speed, Crit rate +5.5% and +7.2%. With All mods equipped i got 62 rounds now.
yes we know. Cage helmet is +1 trigger count. TRIGGER. it doesnt proc any extra damage or anything. it just a counter. its trash with current mods. probably expect new stuff in the future
I agree. I was really just debunking people who were saying it didn't let you get more than 1 shrap, and that it wasn't better than beret. It is, but just marginally. Probly not worth the stardust, but also that very first clip probly isn't possible with beret. I've killed that wolf with so many setups so many times.
Sure you max out more DPS this way but it means nothing when you need to reload all the time. Instead why don't you try hitting the target for a good 2-3 minutes and at the end of the timer see what your total damage dealt is. Using the other mods that give you ammo back + beret I definitely believe in most cases you would have a much higher number. In most scenarios of gameplay I find having almost infinite ammo to save me 9 times out of 10. Just my opinion.
The magazine attachment you want to find the one that puts more ammo in it. Otherwise I just max out stability. I'm not sure if stability is particularly the best stat to go for but it works for me.
@@thiccfila Range increases the minimum damage multiplier. Higher Range = More Damage stays Closer to the Max Damage you can do. Huge difference between 50 Range and 90 Range. Try it.
It's good to deversify weapons dmg but crit dmg and weakspot dmg dont multiply they add to the other, only weapon dmg multiply with the other two so deversify dmg is good with weapon dmg and other sources of dmg that scale with it.
yes I explained that in my last video. What I was trying to say in this one when it came to fateful strike vs momentum up, is that you don't always control what bonus you have on the bottom. Some of your mods may likely have some weakspot here or there, so using momentum up at least allows you to not miss out on damage thats already there. also I believe it is stronger anyway, although need to do further testing. also it provides gun damage, and we have tons of crit anyway.
I don't like that one with bow because a lot of bosses or enemies have hteir weakspots hidden for a time. Like against the dog kill in the beginning I'm not even marking him until his first weakpoint, and I don't even do it again. However I just found a blue shotgun which just marks enemies on a % and I'm trying that mod now, it's a great option with that shotgun IMO.
@@thiccfila theres a purple pistol that doesnt need weakspots and also a gold sniper. Marking without weakspots insnt a problem with the right setup. Its jus a matter of if it does more damage to use that mask mod and as far as I understand it does, but could be wrong.

I was correcting bad information. the video said you could just buy multiples from the blueprint shop and the 1st time will give you the BP and the other times will give you fragments for it and that's just categorically wrong.
I think they are very similar in terms of damage. I don't see a reason why one is better than the other regardless of damage reasons? I felt momentum up was slightly better, but I had a fateful strike from my first build since I found it first, and it performed just fine.

I am in a PVE server. I plan on starting new characters for other build types and going to PVP at some point. What I will say is if you want to do shrapnel, this is a very high damage version of it. And some of the higher straight DPS for bosses I've seen from other people's bossing builds. I'm sure that translates if you are looking to do high damage in PVP. Personally I don't see many people talking about burn. It provides a damage over time that negates stopping/healing effects, and you only need to land a few bullets on many weapons to apply it. I think it is under the radar, but also I haven't done a deep dive into burn yet and don't know how strong or weak it is.
Go with jaws as much as I love shrapnel jaws is still busted atm since the stagger of the explosion and making a good build can one tap or two tap people
Depends on how good player is. Up close Jaws is oppressive. With some distance and movement I've found a lot of people just aren't that great in getting the hits on you as you are them at distance.
I don't know if other people posted this but you can't buy the weapons multiple times.. only once and it unlocks the blueprint, it doesn't actually give you the fragments .. sadly
I have all the good mods, but cant get those mods to drop with weapon dmg and crit dmg. So my damage tops out at about 21k on the mannequin. Only 2 star on the SOCR blueprint as well.
I’m using unstable bomber build and when it procs it’s hitting 20-30k+ and I’m a week behind your server so I don’t have access to hard modes yet. But shrapnel seems better since it hits weakpoints. Unstable bomber not being able to crit or hit weakpoints is rough
@@thiccfila I’m using the smg and the sniper. The sniper can hit higher bomber hits just bc it’s guaranteed to crit while the smg can’t crit the bomber procs. But 20-30k procs on the smg still leads to higher dps then the sniper just bc it’s a bullet hose
the wish Mashine BUT one Thing which is crucial. We are thinking that another SOCR BP will upgrade its Weapon to tier 2 right ? It is wrong, i tested it, pulled another BP from it and it like 5-10% Missing to make it happen. So BP is like 150, your Weapon is 160 ... such a big Fail - keep in Mind, one BP isnt enough .... ;-) and if this means the same for other Weapons Upgrades too, then u will waste alot of SC by trying ..
@extbr3akz so it will take multiple seasons to get it upgraded? Lol. What a weird design decision. I wonder if some of the other weapons will be better then since you can get them to drop. That's a huge damage loss for the SOCR.
I mention at the end of hte video not to buy another SOCR. I believe you just need beyonder blue prints, there are two purple pistols in the machine which only cost 2000. When the next phase starts I will try this, if you want to wait before risking starchrom. It starts in less than 2 days
Beret and mask are both good, the beret is good with souvenir for infinite mag, the mask is good for explosion proc. I crafted both and switch between them just for fun 😁 the only difference with you is the dead shot mod, I killed countless time the fridge boss, but I got only purple dead shot no gold… am I unlucky or im farming the wrong boss?

@@thiccfila this build is already op, people always complain for nothing without testing, leave them talk bro, amazing explanation and amazing choise between two style of gameplay. As you said, 1st is good for enemy with lot of weakspot to refill mag, 2nd is good for enemy with less weakspot and have a constant dps without relaying on rng mag fill proc. Waiting for new scenario, meanwhile going for dead shot gold still 😂

Do not buy random epic beyonder weapons to star up the SOCR. Epic blueprints are 60 fragments of 10xp each so 600xp, which you can buy 4x for 8000 starchrom so in total you'll get 2400xp. Legendary blueprints are 80 fragments of 30xp each so 2400xp *however* when the fragments that you use to star up actually match the thing they are upgrading (i.e. using SOCR fragments to upgrade SOCR) then they count for double. So buying a SOCR dupe for 8000 starchrom gives you 4800xp.

You can’t buy the same blueprint for starchrom again. You can buy it for 8k and them gamble the socr package on the machine for more fragments

When you buy blueprints from the wish machine it auto unlocks that item. You wont get the blueprints fragments to use to upgrade other blueprints.
If you already own the BP from farming mythicals(or gambling), you CAN purchase it once and it converts it to fragments!

The beret makes the shrapnel souvenir combo never run out of ammo

Deviant was wolf, and tactical was ofc used. Great thing about this game is so many weapon builds work really well, UB is amazing, Frost is awesome, Shock absolutely rips! I feel a lot of the builds are all super fun and super strong.
Pretty sure the shrapnel hit weight thing is not priority for hitting weakspots, but rather how hard the shrapnel hits the weakspot. As seen when testing at 10:17, your weakspot shrapnel hits for 1700 something. Then, when testing the Carnage mod at 15:55, your weakspot shrapnel hits for 2200 something. So there could be a very interesting build with Carnage and weakspot damage :)
That mod also has weakspot dmg bonus if u missed it. So has both priority and weakspot dmg
its weight. the base weight for shrapnel to hit a weakspot is unknown. but a 100% increase on the base weight is obviously not 100% chance.
@@Mio-- again, explain to me how you think “shrapnel hit weight” means weakspot priority? I even looked back at the footage, and he does not get any more shrapnel weakspot hits with the mod on, than without. Only thing that changes is how much damage the weakspot shrapnel does.
i havent really tried this game more but from what ive seen with all the different build options it seems neat, shrapnel i feel like is pretty underused in games so its cool you can dedicate whole builds to it

It's because shrapnel was so brokenly powerful in beta 2 with div-evo that nothing came even remotely close to it, and it pissed a lot of people off. So now it feels like it's under the other options, but still viable.
Thanks for the in depth analysis. It looks like the gas mask definitely helps the explosive shrapnel build. I'm using souvenir right now, can top out around 50k on the dummy. It's definitely a sustained DPS build more than a burst build, and you have to get accustomed to aiming at the body (not weakspots) so the 100% weakspot weight mod triggers on the weakspot. Let me say weakspot some more. It's definitely a different way to play. I put up a video of my build on my channel doing hard mode treant with the build with about 40% base crit and 100% crit damage, so I'm missing A LOT of base crit damage, but still managed to melt the boss in 15 seconds.

@@thiccfila Are you using a different calibration on your Last Valor? Not sure if I missed it in the vid. I'm running a Rapid Shot Style which gives 20% fire rate but -10% attack. I'm not sure if that is better or the Precision Style which gives -10% fire rate but 20% attack.

@@thiccfila I have a fast fire setup with double crit, bastille boots and beret with falcon set, all I have mod wise is shrap souvenir on the gun, shrapnel carnage on mask, fateful strike on helmet as shrapnel is NOT affected as you know, and it double-scalars multiplicatively instead of additively with crit, crit boost on gloves, deadshot on pants, covered advance on shoes, remember that you picked reload and mag size perks on your setup which is completely invalidated by shrapnel souvenir which with a 80 round mag can easily fire 500 rounds before reloading if you don't miss, all of my mods have weapon damage, status damage, damage to great ones, and mag size,
i get 120k on the dummy after bullseye crossbow and can fire for over a minute without reloading, every boss dies minus arachsiam dies insanely fast, beret is absolutely better for both burst and duration dps when you have sharpnel souvenir in the mix, without souvenir your build is better, it's critical to making the infinite ammo scaling damage actually loop.
@@meowxeno Have almost an identical setup to yours, only difference is using lonewolf instead of falcon and I seem to get a similar 120-130k. Always top damage in any group content as well. The Multiplicative DMG stacking goes crazy.

A few questions. You say all mods tested. That is not true at all from what I have seen of your video. You seem to advise using mods that you have found rather than ones that are better that you just have not found/aquired yet is this true? You say the bonuses on the crossbow mod for bullseye does not matter but this is also not true. My 12% reload speed says otherwise. You are using precision mods that are weakspot rather than violent which are crit specific which is better for shrapnel yes? Many questions which would be nice to be answered, cheers.

It might be somewhere, but do you have a list of the names of each piece of armor itself and where to get? Like, I can catch a few of the names, I could not tell what set the pants were from. I also can't find where to get that gas mask version, the shop only has the hood version, which is not the same ability. This could be due to the server I am on, as we are only on week 3, but the wish games don't cover the helmet from what I can tell and I have no idea if it is with a vendor or not. Thanks in advance.

there are some mods that dont have other color versions
The higher rarity versions are gear locked to the gloves slot
on the bow, the amplifier mod where bullseye applies vuner. you can get a roll for bosses where bullseye will be applied for a longer time.

I believe the overall calculations ended with cage helm as weakest, then beret, and finally gas mask as 10% stronger than beret
I think due to mistranslations people aren't testing the CAGE helmet but I believe the cage should do more since the actual translation for SOCR - Last Valor is Shrapnel on every fourth hit not 4% with crits counting as two hits. CAGE adds +1 to Trigger count meaning you have shrapnel on every 2 hits
Im actually using Cage,what it does is, doing 2 sharpnel like beret, but it count 2 times for the explosion mod(from the mask) meaning it procs every 10 times instead of 20. Way better for pvp and maybe even for pve
I run a very similar build with targeted strike instead of explosive shrapnel (with beret). The dummy dps caps out around 70k. A bit more burst but suffers in heavy sustain scenarios (these currently don't exist afaik). With so many bosses having immunity phases, there's always time to reload the xbow to be ready for the next phase.
I actually started using the blue bulls eye shotgun, which doesnt get crit rate but applies bulls eye more consistently and more frequently, im using that mask mod now. i didnt like it with the bow because i dont think i apply it enough

no it works, you can damage weakspot, you just have no weakspot damage bonuses.

My preference is the KAM Pioneer over the SOCR imo. Mostly just because my KAM has a maxed out blueprint and I like the 30% shrapnel chance / 60% shrapnel damage buff it has
A lot of people talk about the purple SMG, but that assault rifle caught my eye honestly. When I tried it on the dummy it wasn't even near the DPS of the SOCR. I think SOCR being able to get more shrapnel based on crit rate is insane, since you can manipulate it with good mods. However, I'm willing to go try it more, it looks cool.

Yeah what navy said. It's the blue rarity AK. That being said my blueprint is maxed out so the damage difference isn't huge compared to my 2 star SOCR blueprint, plus I get 10 more rounds in the mag

Have you tried Caibration BPs? I'm torn between Rapid Shot and Precision. But when I tried Rapid Shot on the Last Valor, my DPS increased noticeably to 70k whereas it only reached around 60k with Precision. Both Calibrations are 2x Crit Rate. Dunno maybe you have different results.

I finally got Shrapnel Souvenir to drop and added it to my build. My overall damage for hard mode instances went from around 600k to almost 2 million. Not having to constantly reload is unreal. You just don't realize how much overall dps you lose because of reloading. Yes you will do more burst damage but when you are doing boss fights and you don't have to constantly reload it really makes a difference. Not to mention that if you happen to have to do a dodge roll during a boss fight and you are reloading then it interrupts the reload. In real world playing I think Souvenir wins hands down. My opinion but if you happen to get it to drop try it out, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Oh, and looking at your numbers again if you look at total damage between reloads you are doing very close to double the overall damage per reload with Souvenir. Now unless you are taking down hard mode, or pro mode bosses in less than a minute I think having to reload less often and doing more consistent damage overall is much better, in my humble opinion ;)

4 piece lonewolf, 1 piece bastille, beret or gas mask (gas mask is like 8% better overall, but if its not worth 8k starchrom to you just use beret)
Why is your melee weapon without a mod? Does that not add to your dmg? Or does it only count when you're holding it?
Only when you're holding it, same with Secondary weapon, the crit rate boost on it doesn't count to Valor sadly.

You'd lose a lot of crit. It's 30% from the recurve bow. Without it you'd have to give up Explosive Shrapnel to get 10% crit hitting marked enemies on your mask. And probably take the 15% crit glove mode rather than 10% crit with crit DMG. And also the no weakspot damage for 10% crit. In this way, you'd only be missing 5% of the crit he's using in this build. The question is how much the crit dmg would be closing the gap?
The weakspot boost would be wasted on Bingo with the helm taking away weakspot damage. But you'd get a gauranteed bullseye on weapon swap. And sniper would be more use than just bossing. There is also the question of "good" enough. If you can kill a boss in 18 seconds rather than 14 seconds. That could be "good enough" for you.

just got the last mod I was looking for but I run a similar build but I don't have the gas mask so I'm using beret, I use shrapnel souvnir, fateful strike, shrapnel carnage, crit boost, covered advance and deadshot all violent, all mods maxxed, 4 piece lonewolf with 1 piece bastelle all 6/6 i top out at 66k with wolf proc and crossbow, about 1.7M damage done after wolf ends. Not really sure if the gas mask would actually do more in my setup or not though tbh

Once you buy outright from the Wish Shop, that item becomes "owned" and you cannot buy another copy. I also believe it unlocks the BP, and not fragments. So no getting frags to level that way.

DO NOT buy those pistols to feed to your rifle. When you buy them flat out like that, it does not give you fragments, it gives you the blueprint pre-fused. You can only purchase them flat out like that one time for this very reason.
There's a mask mod called Targeted strike that adds 10% crit rate and 25% crit dmg to marked enemies. Have you done any testing to see if explosive shrapnel is better?
depends if you want general gameplay or boss bursting. You can reach 110k dps with shrapnel using Targeted strike. (on the dummy, its more against bosses)

yes we know. Cage helmet is +1 trigger count. TRIGGER. it doesnt proc any extra damage or anything. it just a counter. its trash with current mods. probably expect new stuff in the future

On the helm test the difference in total dps was almost the same so since the fire helm is harder to get it would be better to use the other one.
I agree. I was really just debunking people who were saying it didn't let you get more than 1 shrap, and that it wasn't better than beret. It is, but just marginally. Probly not worth the stardust, but also that very first clip probly isn't possible with beret. I've killed that wolf with so many setups so many times.
Sure you max out more DPS this way but it means nothing when you need to reload all the time. Instead why don't you try hitting the target for a good 2-3 minutes and at the end of the timer see what your total damage dealt is. Using the other mods that give you ammo back + beret I definitely believe in most cases you would have a much higher number. In most scenarios of gameplay I find having almost infinite ammo to save me 9 times out of 10. Just my opinion.

The magazine attachment you want to find the one that puts more ammo in it. Otherwise I just max out stability. I'm not sure if stability is particularly the best stat to go for but it works for me.
@@thiccfila Range increases the minimum damage multiplier. Higher Range = More Damage stays Closer to the Max Damage you can do. Huge difference between 50 Range and 90 Range. Try it.

It's good to deversify weapons dmg but crit dmg and weakspot dmg dont multiply they add to the other, only weapon dmg multiply with the other two so deversify dmg is good with weapon dmg and other sources of dmg that scale with it.
yes I explained that in my last video. What I was trying to say in this one when it came to fateful strike vs momentum up, is that you don't always control what bonus you have on the bottom. Some of your mods may likely have some weakspot here or there, so using momentum up at least allows you to not miss out on damage thats already there. also I believe it is stronger anyway, although need to do further testing.
also it provides gun damage, and we have tons of crit anyway.

I don't like that one with bow because a lot of bosses or enemies have hteir weakspots hidden for a time. Like against the dog kill in the beginning I'm not even marking him until his first weakpoint, and I don't even do it again.
However I just found a blue shotgun which just marks enemies on a % and I'm trying that mod now, it's a great option with that shotgun IMO.
@@thiccfila theres a purple pistol that doesnt need weakspots and also a gold sniper. Marking without weakspots insnt a problem with the right setup. Its jus a matter of if it does more damage to use that mask mod and as far as I understand it does, but could be wrong.

You can't buy multiple of the same blueprint from the "blueprint shop" part of the wish machine. Once you buy it, it says "purchased" and that's that.

I was correcting bad information. the video said you could just buy multiples from the blueprint shop and the 1st time will give you the BP and the other times will give you fragments for it and that's just categorically wrong.

I think they are very similar in terms of damage. I don't see a reason why one is better than the other regardless of damage reasons? I felt momentum up was slightly better, but I had a fateful strike from my first build since I found it first, and it performed just fine.

I am in a PVE server. I plan on starting new characters for other build types and going to PVP at some point. What I will say is if you want to do shrapnel, this is a very high damage version of it. And some of the higher straight DPS for bosses I've seen from other people's bossing builds. I'm sure that translates if you are looking to do high damage in PVP. Personally I don't see many people talking about burn. It provides a damage over time that negates stopping/healing effects, and you only need to land a few bullets on many weapons to apply it. I think it is under the radar, but also I haven't done a deep dive into burn yet and don't know how strong or weak it is.
Go with jaws as much as I love shrapnel jaws is still busted atm since the stagger of the explosion and making a good build can one tap or two tap people
Depends on how good player is. Up close Jaws is oppressive. With some distance and movement I've found a lot of people just aren't that great in getting the hits on you as you are them at distance.

I have all the good mods, but cant get those mods to drop with weapon dmg and crit dmg. So my damage tops out at about 21k on the mannequin. Only 2 star on the SOCR blueprint as well.

I’m using unstable bomber build and when it procs it’s hitting 20-30k+ and I’m a week behind your server so I don’t have access to hard modes yet. But shrapnel seems better since it hits weakpoints. Unstable bomber not being able to crit or hit weakpoints is rough
check out my buddy itztermx, he uses the sniper and he likes it a lot
@@thiccfila I’m using the smg and the sniper. The sniper can hit higher bomber hits just bc it’s guaranteed to crit while the smg can’t crit the bomber procs. But 20-30k procs on the smg still leads to higher dps then the sniper just bc it’s a bullet hose

I have messed with +mag, +fire rate, and my current one is +attack, with crit dmg and crit rate. That one has been the strongest for me so far.

the wish Mashine BUT one Thing which is crucial. We are thinking that another SOCR BP will upgrade its Weapon to tier 2 right ? It is wrong, i tested it, pulled another BP from it and it like 5-10% Missing to make it happen. So BP is like 150, your Weapon is 160 ... such a big Fail - keep in Mind, one BP isnt enough .... ;-) and if this means the same for other Weapons Upgrades too, then u will waste alot of SC by trying ..

I mention at the end of hte video not to buy another SOCR. I believe you just need beyonder blue prints, there are two purple pistols in the machine which only cost 2000. When the next phase starts I will try this, if you want to wait before risking starchrom. It starts in less than 2 days
Beret and mask are both good, the beret is good with souvenir for infinite mag, the mask is good for explosion proc. I crafted both and switch between them just for fun 😁 the only difference with you is the dead shot mod, I killed countless time the fridge boss, but I got only purple dead shot no gold… am I unlucky or im farming the wrong boss?

As you said, 1st is good for enemy with lot of weakspot to refill mag, 2nd is good for enemy with less weakspot and have a constant dps without relaying on rng mag fill proc. Do not buy random epic beyonder weapons to star up the SOCR.
Epic blueprints are 60 fragments of 10xp each so 600xp, which you can buy 4x for 8000 starchrom so in total you'll get 2400xp.
Legendary blueprints are 80 fragments of 30xp each so 2400xp *however* when the fragments that you use to star up actually match the thing they are upgrading (i.e. using SOCR fragments to upgrade SOCR) then they count for double. So buying a SOCR dupe for 8000 starchrom gives you 4800xp.

What Calibration should we be going for on the gun?
I have messed with +mag, +fire rate, and my current one is +attack, with crit dmg and crit rate. That one has been the strongest for me so far.
