The case with the carbon monoxide poisoning - leaving all else aside, anyone else feel like Judge Judy is always saying the same “why don’t you move?”. At least where I live, it’s a struggle to find decent places, never mind the time it takes to search and moving costs… Landlords have certain responsibility regarding the places they rent out and I never hear her mentioning this. It’s a bit frustrating.
I agree. People have limited monies (some) and where would they get the money to hire a U-Haul, find a reasonable place and have First, Last, and Security???? JJ is off the track when she says this.
@@standingonmountain3975 Easier only if you have the money to move AND where to move. It’s logical, if people had these means, they’d move and not waste their time. Personally, I rent a beautiful apartment, excellent location, close to work, markets, good rent amount relative to size, but the owner is being difficult around fixing a water boiler. This falls under his responsibility legally and I can contest it. I know the market and there is no apartment this good nearby, I don’t have a car, so moving is extremely difficult and pricey. I don’t want to downgrade or argue, I just want a basic amenity fixed, so I can continue living here. Even if he doesn’t fix it for me, the next tenant will demand the same thing, so either way it needs to be done. Tenants have legal rights and they need to be aware, to demand basic commodities from their landlords. If the rent is paid and you, as a tenant, never caused issues, I would resort to every means possible first, before moving. 👌
The second case she was trying to get a case because why would you stay after the first month of getting carbon monoxide poisoning and then to keep going to the hospital knowing exactly what the issue was is even crazier she definitely crazy
@@hashslingingslasher4214 This. It would cost me 500+ to move. I dont even have 250 after I pay essential bills :( That doesnt include Security deposit etc.
If they didnt know it was CO at first then I can see returning home... but after it happens again and again then that's when you GTFO at least temporarily, get the place tested...
Squirrel bait tenant. She's a professional victim and patient. She's using a hospital as a hotel. I get that ALL the time. I guarantee you she's a taxpayer freeloader too. Doubtless a poly pharmaceutical junkie. Demanding a magic pill for EVERYTHING. Her eyes don't focus. That's a bizarre affect and facial expression. More than likely drug induced. She's probably taking a cocktail of prescribed drugs bouncing off each other like superballs and she can't figure out why her brain can't focus. That's self induced paranoia. She needs to be dried out. I'll bet she drinks too.
My opinion the daughter is an entitled brat!! She had issues with everyone she stayed with Grandparents, father, mother she is the common denominator!!
I was out of my house at 18 in the military. And I am a woman. I've been homeless more times than I can count broke in the military and doctors without borders in 3rd world countries. Take your whining and shove it up your butt junior. Tell me all about how hard life is in America. I'll laugh in your face. And your witnesses.
She's working the system. As usual. In America, it's much more profitable to play professional eternal victim. You can freeload off EVERYONE and whip out the laundry list of diagnostic terms for EVERY emotion and excuses for not taking responsibility or taking care of themselves. She's so used to mooching off everyone and things being handed to her and playing others for suckers. She's not going to change.
I will also add, that what judge would ask a litigant "why" do you keep a socket wrench in your vehicle? That is such an irrelevant question. That has NOTHING to do with the case at hand, yet Judy comes off as "don't try and fool me at your age." Are you kidding me? I could fool her at ANY age. She comes off as "so smart." The woman is completely unable to do basic math. In addition, she is ZERO objective when it comes to younger litigants. Could you just observe her other cases that involve younger folks? I'm sick of hearing how "smart" she claims she is. She is NOT. She is way TOO OLD and does NOT understand current law or events that encompass that law. Sorry.
@ That’s real comical. Why don’t you come up with a REAL educated, common sense response besides coming up with a complete childish, name calling reply. Friggin ignoramus that has ZERO clue what you are talking about.
The plaintiff in the first case is a bully that thinks he's allowed to police the world. How dare he assault these kids.
that kid was a punk, and he`ll be in jail again
Grown man should have known better to not slap the kid. He looks like a bully.
Looking for a payday
That plaintiff looks like a nasty piece of work, I don't believe a word that vile man said.
The first plaintiff as soon as he slapped him that was it.
Carbon monoxide lady isn't playing with a full deck😕😕😕
If it /is/ CO poisoning it can cause brain damage sadly.

It's easier to move than to deal with a slamlord. I've done that, instead of trying to fight an idiot I take my money elsewhere 😊

Why make a Hooters joke to Judge Judy??? smh
cause he's a teen.
the guy at 1:00:00 really should have taken her advice of 'If it looks like your winning, say nothing.'
The first case the plaintiff is a total jerk
That kid was scared to get off he had a big mouth that’s what got him slapped
This case is kinda sad 😔
16:06 Every time JJ is talking he shuts his eyes. He does it a few times. Sooooo disrespectful 😡
The woman tenant is so odd!

I think she shouldn't be there anymore
Can someone say weird?
She was cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs 🤣🤣🤣
How Ridiculous
He destroyed her laundry mart and doesn’t think his responsible. Pay the lady 1500.
25 min she needs help mentally
The meddling mother at the end with the hair that's a mess is a bad Mom, which is why her kids are f'd up.
"Bunch of whackos" 😂😂😂
The third case, the mom and stepfather are scary in looks and attitude.
I think JJ did a good job on this one, considering the parents narcissistic traits.
They seem terrible.
My opinion the daughter is an entitled brat!! She had issues with everyone she stayed with Grandparents, father, mother she is the common denominator!!
These punks I bet they were bullying him
Did the two friends have a threescore with the husband 😅😅😅

Your carbon monoxide levels can be effected by many things including certain meds.

@@williamwallace8164 oooooooh, I hear the sound of an incel who never graduated high school and hasn't got a bank account.
I will also add that the defendant's case should NEVER have been dismissed. The first case on here is to be specific and also what I said above.

Had the same thought.
