They may have been doping and GSP may have been intentionally applying Vaseline to evade submission attempts.. I think it's about important to mention that because BJ Penn took it to the commissioner, several fighters agreed with him, and the rules of corner men were changed..

I think he's 2nd and will be 3rd when Islam's career is over. People forget that including his 1.5 year layoff (knees) Khabib was ranked in the top 10 for 6 effing years before he got a title shot and could have been even longer if the belt wasn't vacant. Islam had same issue. Could have been years longer before he got his shot until Olives missed weight and vacated belt. Where as GSP got his 1st title shot 6 months after cracking the top 10. That and the fact GSP's UFC fights were in Canada and America and Khabib's (except for 2) were 12,000 miles and 12 time zones away from his home. Then there's the whole "never bled" "never lost a round" (except 1 to a McCheater). Combined with the image of Georges after the Johnny Hendricks beating. And I'd put my money on Khabib.
