I am sorry if you guys did not like the commentary, it is quite heart-breaking, I actually enjoyed making the voice-overs I found it to be.. more fun to edit, even if you prefer for me to make the videos without the commentary.. sadly I can not take that choice as UA-cam will not allow me to monetize, and I require the income to be honest... I tried to see maybe with Patreon I could get decent income but it just gives me enough to pay my thumbnail artist and well so far my Live Streams views on Twitch seem to be quite stuck in quite low numbers, I really do not want to stop being a content creator, currently trying to start a business outside of the internet and try to do UA-cam more of partial time rather than a full-time job. I will try my best to get better at the commentary and do just what is necessary for UA-cam, if you can give me feedback in what you think I can do better just let me know.

I’m not a fan of the commentary. To be honest it severely detracted from the video and my enjoyment. The few times it worked were when it was genuine, like the last clip with the Feng. It felt very forceful and it showed. To be honest, just keep with your original format to keep bringing people in and keeping your present audience, while doing TCM, Twitch, sponsorships and Patreon. The worst thing you can do is push people away by changing your primary content, because your primary content is going to lead everyone else into supporting you in other ways rather than only Montage content.

The thing is that he’s making more than just montages now with TCM, he started streaming on Twitch again, is doing Patreon again, and had a sponsor on this video. All different sources of income. I support him on Patreon because I enjoy his content and and want the montages to continue the way they are because I enjoy them. If I suddenly don’t enjoy them because they change, then why should I keep supporting content I don’t like? TCM gameplay could help get him reinstated for monetization as well. His montages keeps a loyal audience and if that audience suddenly doesn’t want to watch his content that they don’t like, they won’t want to help support him in other ways, and that also means his videos get less views for the sponsors. The alternative income is there to KEEP the same quality content. If that changes then the alternative income also takes a hit imo.
I don't mind the commentary since contrary to 4gamers you put energy in and you don't sound like you are dead inside. And i appreciate that you talk at the beginning or at the end of the clip so we can enjoy the goofy sounds.

It seems to me that you just need to reduce the number of commented moments if possible. Do not comment almost every moment. Personally, it seemed to me that with the comments, the video became a little less dynamic than usual. But that didn't make it any less interesting. 😎

Why not begin videos with "ALRIGHT LET'S DO THIS" like you used to for DBD games you'd play? Perhaps some sound effects to your voices can help blend in with the video. For example.. Maybe you could add the commentary via morse code bursts at exactly 2400Hz. Link any site to translate morse code to english in the description and bang, you're providing the commentary, and there is an option to ignore it. I'm guessing for this that the commentary can't be via annotations.
Personally I would recommend the commentary after the video, either that or use a little mini myers as your avatar as if you were "reacting" to it, or rating the clip between 0 to 10 so at least UA-cam doesn't do its thing again. Anyways, nice vid ❤
