What a good review. Thank you. It's informative and to the point. I agree they did a lot of things great, I still think the lack of a really good colour accurate panel holds the system back a little. At this "affordable" price point, it's getting dangerously close to 3070 laptop machines with similar performance, but they pack better screens.

Bought my son this for Christmas, got it for 885 slightly used on amazon. Nothing wrong with it at all, overall was one of the better deals I've gotten
Got this laptop for about 10 days now and it's awesome.. really; the display ain't got any problems, no ghosting (only in Mafia 2 Definitive but it's happening on rtx 3080 also bc that game is poorly optimised), you get decent fps in every game. The only problem it's overheating and the noise of the fans; I think it's not build to last more than 3 years if you buy it for gaming.

This “affordable” gaming laptop isn’t really affordable with that €1400 price point, that price point comes dangerously close to some of the 8 core RTX 3070 laptops, or one of the best 8 core, 115W rtx 3060 laptops, and at that price point, it is a must to include at least 144hz, 100%sRGB screen with good response times Your review was amazing, but that laptop wasn’t at that price point
Keep in mind that's the MSRP, so it should drop under that in a little bit. Also I don't know where you are but if you want an 8-core/3070/100% sRGB 144Hz+ laptop you're looking at 1600-1700 here, 1750+ for a 100W+ GPU.

Even msi gp66 with the same processor scores less in multi-core performance. Is the cooling in this laptop that much good? I have no Idea how a tuf series jumped that much higher. It doesn't even have full powered rtx 3060. Does it make any sense?
It could just be tuning, but a GP66 with the same CPU really shouldnt be slower.
@@TechTesters Hope you could have more devices to test this.
you said that the sRGB of this laptop is disappointing, is it not worth buying for architecture students? we use lumion and sketch up most of the time.
Do you need color accuracy? If so you can maybe grab a version with a 100% srgb screen
The coling I want to use a coling pad under the laptop but will that be enough like will it still over heat I want a normal temp
Anyone know if the laptop comes in Graphite Black too or just Eclipse Grey?
I bought this lap, there is a issue with it, WiFi chip sometimes don't work, just tried to reset couple of times but didn't know what leads it. I'm just a content creator using unity, it sometimes get heated during that occasion it occurs. It's still under warranty, just want to know whether it's normal?
does asus use ram to boost vram. Cause in NVIDIA I see about 14GB for Video memory.
I live in the Netherlands where can i buy it ? i can't find it.
