I’m thinking it’s the cam not in the power band. With this converter, 2nd & 3rd gear pull from 5k to 6k. Before I would probably need a cam that makes power in that RPM range. With the previous converter, it was using more of the torque. Same shift RPM. The 60’ was much better just no top end to keep pulling through. Also was thinking about switching to 3:42 gears to see if it would help the top end.
Could it be blowing through the convertor being too loose to lose 5 mph?
