Blackpink performance was a bore. In my opinion, the only reason why people like them is because they are shallow. They look like any other k-pop that just perform and look and act the same. 2ne1 really is YG's blueprint and standard for a girl group. The fact that they made Rosé fake her voice to create a similar sound to Park Bom who has it naturally btw. The fact that they pushed Jennie to the center to be "The CL" of the group. They also looked for someone like Lisa all the way from Thailand with a unique dance background as a little kid the way they scouted Minzy in a dance competition when the latter was 9. Lastly, they still making the signature the doll face natural-looking visual like Dara just in case there's a possibility that they might recreate the look in the future with different style. But as the saying goes, you can't beat the original. BP are STUDYING, 2ne1 is that BOOK.
Ddu-du-ddu-du is actually a great song and I can actually imagine how hype the crowd would be if BP knows how to connect with the crowd. I'm like waiting for any effort for them to hype up the crowds, but they're sticking to what they know and practiced- it just lacked sincerity and power. Blackpink performance was a bore. In my opinion, the only reason why people like them is because they are shallow. They look like any other k-pop that just perform and look and act the same. Look, I enjoyed BP's concert and had a ton of fun. I'd definitely go again. But all CL has to do is shout, "Are You Ready?!" and I'm dead. No gg, I repeat, none can compete with 2NE1 when it comes to live performances. Heck, even many boy groups can't compare. And I've never even been to a 2ne1 concert.

2ne1 really is YG's blueprint and standard for a girl group. The fact that they made Rosé fake her voice to create a similar sound to Park Bom who has it naturally btw. The fact that they pushed Jennie to the center to be "The CL" of the group. They also looked for someone like Lisa all the way from Thailand with a unique dance background as a little kid the way they scouted Minzy in a dance competition when the latter was 9. Lastly, they still making the signature the doll face natural-looking visual like Dara just in case there's a possibility that they might recreate the look in the future with different style.
But as the saying goes, you can't beat the original. BP are STUDYING, 2ne1 is that BOOK.

Ddu-du-ddu-du is actually a great song and I can actually imagine how hype the crowd would be if BP knows how to connect with the crowd. I don't know what YG stage management staff if doing about their idol, maybe about not enough money to hire or something but it's impressive that blackpink can hype their audience with just them four, their music and their dance and make a new worldwide fan with just four of them with less backup dancer. If you thinking outside the box and think that blackpink has enough backup dancer, their show will boom they world tour because 2ne1 popularity between blackpink was far more less then them. Blackpink can't leave the "center stage" because they don't have backup dancer to suppot the center stage. I don't know if 2ne1 stage management staff is the same with blackpink stage management staff but it's was sure that blackpink can hype their world tour with less backup dancer. I really love Blackpink, they were the only girlgroup I watched everyday, but then I discovered 2NE1 and I gotta admit that they are real performers.
They are amaizing, 1 second of their concert and I have goosebumps, they know how to connect with their public.
They know they are owning the stage, you can feel that they aren't just performing, they are having fun and we have fun with them!
