- The new Adventure Force Double Fire is a double barreled shotgun style blaster made by Buzz Bee and sold for $10 exclusively at Walmart. It's made in the spirit of its predecessor, the Buzz Bee Double Shot, but basically does everything better, and is actually cheaper. Whodathunkit?

I'm someone that loved the Double Shot from Buzz Bee and still do, so I have been really hyped about this blaster coming out. I'm happy to say that the thing actually exceeding my hopes! I had the hardest time trying to get one, but I have tons of plans for as many as I can reasonably afford to work on!
MongooseJake how do you make the bullets come out one at a time and two at once ? My kid can’t figure it out 😅
@@jeo987 It's a two-stage trigger, meaning you need to carefully pull it to get each barrel to fire separately, or pull fast and both will fire nearly at the same time. Try pulling the trigger really really slow and you'll feel what I'm talking about.
I tried that and I figured pulling the trigger quick would shoot the 2 but only one shoots all the time.

I’ve watched this video a few times and have seen this blaster at Walmart before but never thought about pulling the trigger until tonight. I gotta say this is a fun little blaster but the priming is something I’m going to have to get used to. I like that it packs a nice punch behind it and I can see my wife and myself having nice little battles using these. Not a blaster that I would normally get but after having fun with the Mega Double Breach I can myself having more fun with it than I thought.

As am I! I've loved the Double Shot in all of it's versions, and this just improves on it.
Looks like a fun little blaster overall. I think a little brass in the right places could help it a bit.
I have just the same thought! Going to have to beef up the priming system, and toss in a couple of better springs along with brass breeches.
I just want a NERF Super Shotgun.
See my brother got the same thing, but it doesn’t make that ticking sound when you breach it. It makes this loud crunch sound and it doesn’t shoot both darts, a little unfortunate
I love the performance this little guy gets...I just wish it was LONGER!! Lol I still love it though!

An air pressure double barrel? That'd be interesting and I'd be all over it!
I agree it's a unique fun little blaster for $10. pretty solid build actually. especially since you can fire one barrel at a time like a rough cut. it's a stiffer trigger so that's easier to do. It feels like you might break it when you open it the way it uses a string inside. the dart handle storage helps. It's just the right size.
If it ever came here, we will have 3 shotguns, Rick’s Shotgun, the Shellstrike, and this... (maybe, im still not sure if it will be sold down here).
Also the Shellstrike is now being sold here in the Philippines and quite possibly the rest of Southeast Asia.
I plan to get the Shell Strike, but initial reviews put it as having very light performance. This thing will spank the shell strike left and right if the Shell Strike is indeed struggling to hit just over 60 fps as some have chrono'd it at. I got dozens of shots hitting all over the 80's and even a few at or above 90. Now, some bad darts hit down in the 70's, but still that's not bad.
Hey mines dont work it only shoots the left bullet and the right bullet stays there and I keep getting mad

Great review as always. Will you ever do a teardown of this? I really wanna pick up one when ever this thing hits the SEA market. Planning on making a sawn off shotgun for an up-close secondary.
Thanks! I absolutely plan to tear down and mod a number of these as soon as funds allow. I've got at least 5 or so builds planned around this blaster, just have to get my hands on plenty of them!

I wish the darts are loaded from the rear of the barrel like the Barrel Break, but I guess Buzz Bee have their reasons. I am a fan of double barrel shotguns, so it does look pretty cool.
I'd have to guess that it helped keep a good air seal while also simplifying the blaster mechanically. I'm going to get more of them and see what I can do, including a full custom brass breech design that does load into the barrel.

It was by complete random chance, there were two of them sitting on a shelf behind one of the Fortnite sickles. Grabbed one for now, and hope to get a few more as I can.
Hmmm interesting ..two months ago I went ahead and found a walking dead double barrel shotgun at dollar general. Unfortunately the darts don’t go far ...I might get this one
I have the same one, it's called "Rick's Shotgun" and it's 100% a regular old Buzz Bee Double Shot with the same shells and firing power from all the way back in the early 2000's. This is night and day different power wise, and at $10, hard to beat. I freaking love the thing.

What is the viability of the pull string mod? Would it free up room for a stock removal? I know most of it is dedicated to the pulley system
Unfortunetly you wouldn't be able to get rid of the stock completely as the dual plunger rods prime back towards the stock, so they need some room for that. I'll be doing a full internals guide and modding this one (and a couple more in the future) soon!

I have a problem with mine when I shoot the gun the first shoot works but the right one does not. I think maybe because I dropped it maybe a couple times but I would like to shoot 2 but it is 1 first

I so I just got it and it worked for a bit then when I reloaded it again and went to shoot it didnt work it acted as if he wasnt reloaded at all could u help?
I encounter the same problem, apparently it had a lot of bad reviews and stops working after a few reloads

I think you have the wrong blaster... This one doesn't use shells at all. It's a breech loading break barrel.
The Buzz Bee Double Shot is the shell using version, and if you've bought a brand new Double Shot (currently the over/under is the only Double Shot sold other than the Walking Dead Rick's Shotgun) and it's not firing one of the two barrels, just exchange it and grab a new one. They're one of the more reliable blasters out there, as I have about 10 of them with no issues beyond one having a loose pivot (gotta get around to fixing that one).
Now, if it's a used Double Shot, they're basically two blasters shoved side by side in the stock and you'll likely find a issue with the catch mechanism on the barrel that's not firing.
MongooseJake I bought one of these and it only fired one so I brought it back for a new one that only shot one so am I just unlucky or not shooting it properly

Check any local Dollar Generals, they are randomly stocking the Rick's Shotgun version from the Walking Dead series of blasters for $15.
My trigger broke and. I don't know how to fix it
I'd need pictures of the internals to see what you've done, could be a variety of things.

The double fire is still not durable. The strings on the internals can snap.
I have no fewer than 7 Buzz Bee Double Shots, some are 15 years old, and out of them, only 1 has any issues, and it's not the string pull priming, that one needs work at the pivot. I feel pretty fine calling them reliable.
Yeah just bought one of these and the string prime seems pretty durable much better than the old double shot. The old double shot was made of worse plastic cause I have accidentally snapped a couple in half priming them lol. But this new blaster doesn't feel like that could happen
@@antonioanderson3039 I agree completely, the newer model just seems beefier overall. I've never had a string nap on a Buzz Bee Double Shot, but the hinge has given issue on at least one. They seemed to have improved that here.

My rope broke from the gun and it wont shoot
Replace it with paracord, you can find it at your local Walmart, or other stores.

Update: mine wasnt defective i was cocking it too hard. I have a brand new one that works fine as long as im gentle. Thats true for all of them
Eagle Heart mine is new I’m gentle and everything and the bullets pop out before I can close it and if I can get them to stay in it still doesn’t work:(
worst purchase ever do not buy!!!
I have no fewer than 6 of these now, have zero regrets. Fun blaster, a little bit of modding potential, and paints nicely. Far from the worst purchase, especially considering it's only $10.
