Allison, thank you a million times over for making such a well thought out video!! I fell in love with the design of a similar bag in an online shop but it was too small and over priced, and finally decided to make it myself. I was going to try to figure it out on my own as I’d just learned this type of beading, but I’m so glad I found your video or it would have taken days! I finished this in an afternoon and I’m beyond thrilled with the finished bag…I’m using it for the first time for my wedding next weekend! 🥰 one tip I want to offer is that you can control the unruly fishing line by putting the inactive string in your mouth, and just alternate the strings using your mouth as a third hand so to speak. Worked great for me. Anyway I’m forever grateful my dear! Kudos!

Best video I've seen on the beaded bag, thank you. I am 53 and sorry to say but the quality of clothing I grew up with, you will never see again for the price that shop is selling them for. It's a shame you have to spend $80 to over $100 for quality fabric, so people have to understand the fashion industry. Fast fashion is not about quality, it's to give a look a like fashion look cheaply. The cost of having a business unfortunately casues shops to have to make cheap quality more than what one would want to pay.

How do I make the base bigger as I am using smaller beads (12mm). Your video is very informative and easy to follow compared to other videos I've come across on here by the way!
Thank you, I’m so glad you found my video helpful! I’m definitely no expert but I would recommend following the pattern again and creating 1 or 2 more “rings” around the base until you achieve the size you want. There might be other tutorials that use smaller beads that may have a more helpful pattern suited for 12mm beads. Good luck! 💕

Hi Allison, thank you for a great video. It is super easy to follow. Also, I wanted to find out if there is a way I can add another layer to the base before building up in order to have a bigger bag. Ps: my pearls are smaller 🙈

You don’t want to make the bag too large though, as it does get quite heavy. I hope this helped!! 💕

What is the length of the thread that you are making with?
I didn’t use an exact length. I would say start with a lot more than you think because it’s easier to tie off and restring once you start building the walls of the bag. Around 3ft will do to start with

When i make my own it's weak and doesn't stick, it has no form meanwhile i do follow every stepplease what should i do
I would recommend just making sure you're pulling the beads as tights and they can go so that the beads stay together and create the shape. Or try using bigger beads, which may be easier!

I have the same trouble i finished the base and the fishwire i cut was about to finish what did u do
How do you tuck in the ends of the fishing line please?
I just made sure they were tied really tightly and trimmed them down to the knot so it wouldn't be sticking out
The setup of the camera and the movement of the pearl arrangement disrupts the tutorial around 7:53 in the video and m stuck at that part now...Not able to continue with my making process....😭😭😭😭
