Face becomes a visible marker of a person's inner state. Faces of those who have lived in alignment with spiritual purity, especially elderly righteous individuals, often reveal a unique serenity and brightness. Their lives of discipline and virtue have prevented the accumulation of kudurat, and thus their souls reflect that purity outwardly. By contrast, the faces of those heavily engaged in vice or disconnected from spirituality may show signs of inner turmoil and lack of peace. This isn’t about knowledge or status; even among the simplest villagers or humble people, this purity can shine through if they live in harmony with their spiritual nature.

Thank you for the beautiful video. Just one tip for next time: I understand that Arabic words can be transliterated differently, but it might be better to write 'Taqwa' instead of 'Takwa' so that people unfamiliar with Islamic terminology can recognize it's a 'qaaf' (ق) and not a 'kef' (ك).
Not really. I’ve always been unattractive/ugly and look much older than I am but I’m sure I’m not evil to deserve this appearance. Let’s leave looks to science and genetics which are the doings of Allah, instead of saying people are ugly because they sin.
Sorry sis/bro, but you've misunderstood. Shaykh Hamza is talking about something deeper than physical attractiveness; as others have mentioned, he's talking about a 'noor' (light) which righteous people's faces are blessed with. This is a subtle feature which is hard to put into words, but just look at the faces of elderly Muslim scholars/righteous people and you may start to understand what is meant by this Noor.
@ Well none can look into their past faces and compare it to the present, but some can definately see all kinds of sins these bright faces do in their daily life.
