I couldn't imagine being an immigrant, far from my home and ingredients, so hard to find. Some adaptation is also in itself difficult.
I think it's wonderful you all cook and try to bring your parents back to a nostalgic taste. I think your sister and her culinary skills and everything you do for your parents, their happiness, their longevity. Is absolutely beautiful. Everyone should aspire to take part in their parents' later life. Bring present and knowledgeable where they are having trouble navigating. Being there when they need company. I wish to give my parents such grace, no matter their faults. I never went hungry. I was disciplined. In a sense, I know how not to be a fu** up. Well clothed. Loved.. . Enough. Some parents may seem harsh until you live the life similar to learn.
This is how I can do better. This is what I want to pass on. The togetherness. The love. The stern when stern is needed. Beautiful, I am not on tiktok. But your videos here should be twice as high if you post both. The love within your family is very present and of course everyone talks about dad but all need recognition on why this is such a wholesome station.

Gosh I get full watching Dad eating..and you would figure the years they have been married he would have already learned how to eat like Mom who is a perfect example of proper eating but that’s ok I eat like Dad too.
