This is wonderful. I love this. We have the traditional clogging in Western North Carolina and it comes right from this dance. It's amazing. Thank you for helping to keep this alive and ❤ beautiful!!
What beautiful talent boys, absolutely love your dancing, love Riverdance too. Love your music, you play wonderful. 👋👋👋👋👋😆 Thank you for sharing. 💯🌟🌟🌟👋👋👋
13 years later and that young lad is now playing Gaelic football for Galway, becoming the first player born on the Aran Islands to do so! Wonder is he still at the dancing too?
The Mulkerrin brothers are brilliant. My young grandaughter does Irish dancing but hadn't seen sean-nos and said Oh I dont like that dancing. I have now brought up the Mulkerrins on You Tube for her tand she has changed her mind!!!!!!!! This is 2013 how are they doing? and what are they doing??
Well what can be said about those boys, just out of this world. So talented yet so humble. They arhave beautiful personalities on top of that talent, they have a winning combination!! Just so delightful, so entertaining, we wish them the very best!! Kevin and Roseanne Collins Newfoundland Canada
I know it has been awhile since this video first aired. I have read a lot of negative comments about no talent. In the years since I do not see any videos showcasing ANY of your much better talent.
A banjo in traditional Irish music played In Ireland. How poetically circular. An instrument of African American origin based on ethnic traditional designs. Adopted by Irish and Welsh émigrés to the new world and played by them in the music of their homeland. What wonderful fusion.
I thought they were rather good. First of all, considering that Ireland's population is about 6 million, versus Britain's population of about 61 million, you have to take into consideration that they don't have as good of odds of finding an extremely talented act, like the UK does. Second, if you notice, a lot of Britain's Got Talent finalists, are children. So these kids would probably have a fairly good chance of winning Britain's Got Talent I think...
Genuine talent and great to see kids who are proud of their heritage and culture win this show. X-factor on the other hand is full of charmless personalities seeking instant celebrity. Ireland is a small proud independent country that has shaken of the shackles of colonial inferiority, unfortuneatly some people still feel the need to impress their English masters - see damienhugh below.
Not a fan of this show at all. But I did happen to catch Daithi O Dronai. He was clearly the most talented by miles. Contemporary with an irish influence and (most importantly) original. A true talent. The fact that he didnt win just says the the judges are idiots and most of the people from the country just want to hear the same old trad. They wouldnt have won if it were 3 brothers in their 40's or 50's.
this is rubbish, any joe soap can do that like, imagen them on britans got tallent, imagen sioman, he would say,if ye were life guards and we were drowneing,we would be dead by now...haha.. at least the little 10 year olds can sing on britans got tallent...
I'm not talking about what people 'look' like, I'm talking about ACTUAL TALENT. These guys are good yeah, but nothing spectacular. Paul Potts was spectacular as is Susan Boyle. Who wants to hear ceili music these days? Only the old Biddies from the Islands. This programme does NOT make me proud to be Irish. If this is all the 'talent' Ireland has to offer, then I dispair!!

Those boys are so talented you have to put in some Hard trading they were brilliant
Am I missing something? WHY is this great? They wouldn't even get passed the first round in Britain's Got Talent. Plus...this is SO 1950s. It's 2009.
this is rubbish, any joe soap can do that like, imagen them on britans got tallent, imagen sioman, he would say,if ye were life guards and we were drowneing,we would be dead by now...haha.. at least the little 10 year olds can sing on britans got tallent...

From the Aran islands and not a word of Irish from them.
Not a word. For shame.
No wonder Irish is a dead language.
They’re fluent I’m very sure, they are speaking Bearla to reach a wider audience. Go h-iontach ar fad.
