Example: Consider 4 processes with size, P1 -300KB, P2 - 25KB, P3- 125KB, P4 - 50KB and two blocks of memory partitions with 150 KB and 350 KB Best Fit P1(300) allocated to 350 KB, 50 KB not used here. Can P2(25KB) be allocated in 350 block itself? Waiting for your answer sir.

In the fixed size partions (unequalsize)there are 50mb ,100mb,200mb,500mb,150mb are present and the processesp1(80) allocated to 100mb and p2(150) is allocated into 200mb or 150mb ....i think that p2(150)allocated into 150mb partition then what is the difference between best fit and this unequal size partition...could u plz clarify my doubt sir
