I had trouble mapping on those too, i had better results mapping them just before dark. I think its more on the camera on the device your using, it cant see all the bulbs during bright daylight. I mapped mine again right before it was full dark, very little light left of day, they worked way better, and had no white or missing bulbs. Try that, well if there still hooked up.
They should make all their lights even the next generations so they work together. Because people keep their lights for years if they last sometimes so every time they come out with new generations they can’t expect people just throwing perfectly good lights in the garbage and running to get the all new generation.
You have to remap the curtains and angle the lights when you map. You CAN map the whole front as well to have them work as one. This i learned in a Twinkley Facebook group.
@@rieskame when you map the whole thing, you may be able too. I took the liberty of posting you video in our fb group and they told me you may be able to if you map the whole thing and then you may be able to get them to show same colour or scene.
so i have one star and trying to add a 2nd set to sync up . I can't for the life of me get to sets to work I can't figure out how to get them on the same wifi net to group them. The app is trash, constantly wants a password up date but when you change it doesn't stick and goes to default. .
@@rieskame We did finally get it to work and boy it works great now. What a pain to change networks. you have to earse the memory and start over to get it to work. Atleast that's what we did.
Thanks for the videos. I was deciding whether to add some some new sets of Twinkly lights to our collection this year. I was confused as to whether all sets would function the same whether they are pro or non pro
Thanks for the video. I’m really torn on whether I should buy 2-600 home sets or spend a little more but only get 2-250 pro strings instead. Are the pros really that much better? It’s a 1200 light vs 500 light decision.
Please can you tell me what the difference is between Twinkly and Twinkly pro is please? In the UK we have RGB and RGBW versions . As in Red/Green/Blue or Red/Green/Blue+White. Your garage and windows both had white so what is the difference? Thanks
Looks great. I have a play list with mine for two separate areas. Timer to turn on both at the same time; however it’s not long they are not sync together. These are great lights. I wish though for ability to sync two separate Areas. Say your windows and garage where compatible; still can’t sync them.
@@rieskame I managed to play with the timing. Added a second more in the playlist for one area. They are closer to staying sync. Reset if them every night with common timer helps.
Hi I have these lights and run 10 sets of curtain lights, in this case personally I would have put the curtains on the garage the strings on the windows and not use the garage for the season lol. In regards to timers I just use the app to set an on time and off time with the playlist I created a pity I can't post a clip of my set up for you to see
I love that hawk gets a cameo in this video!

Yeah it is way better at night except for all the reflections
It’s never too many Twinklies! 😂

If you setup identical playlists that start with a timer you can kinda make it work
their a difference between the pro models
Yeah pro bulbs are bigger and brighter and cannot be combined with non pro bulbs.
how do you know if its a pro model? if it says special edition ont hem? @@rieskame

You sure? I wasn't able to mix pro and non pro lights in October when I put them up again.

I haven't messed with the app yet this year, but the iPhone version was way more reliable than android

Just going to say that. Might have press and hold the button to erase and start over.

Outdoor id go with 1200 for more coverage or resolution.

The pro bulbs are about twice the size of the non pro and are quite a bit brighter. I'm not sure if there is a dedicated white led.
@@rieskame thank you.

Try deleting all and add as one big group? I brought windows inside this year near tree and did see that I cannot group them together either.
