I've been coming back to this arrangement so often the last few days, the music makes me nostalgic for so many things for some reason xD 0:23 Dragon Quest IX 1:18 Tekken Tag tournament 1:43 Avatar the last airbender 1:56 Metroid mixed with pokémon with something else? 2:32 Some anime, but I partout can't put my finger on it 3:20 Final fantasy crystal chronicles 4:28 Zelda harps 4:55 Me wanting to really go relisten old vocaloid songs 5:32 ...DUN dundund dududusdfghjk no associations I just love xD I think that means I guess I like this one ok bye
0:00 - Making way through the garden... 1:16 - Keiki appears... the protagonist and Keiki (along with the spirit) talk. The protagonist has let Keiki stall for too long... She's charged up her sculpting arts! 1:42 - (We must retreat for now! RUN!) 3:20 - Keiki has chased the protagonist out of the garden, obliviously making her way into the land of the beast spirits. 4:28 - The spirits come to the protagonists aid, wanting revenge against Keiki for their defeat. 5:31 - Keiki is overwhelmed by the amount of beast spirits, allowing the protagonist to land the final blow. 6:38 - Keiki Haniyasushin DEFEATED
Pretty cool arrangement, although I'm thinking that the Artist maybe should have kept the variation down a little, as there were several segments that would deserve to be built on, maybe even as their own arrangement. A little less wouldn't have taken from this arrangement, but could have been the cornerstone of another one.
That's a fair point, but I hope ASARI doesn't take it to heart too much. Artists starting out tend to experiment with styles and as a visual artist myself I 100% endorse doing that even if the end result is worse than sticking to one style or genre. You're learning, you're finding out which things you like most and how to work with them. Your future work will satisfy yourself much better if you don't restrict yourself now and focus too much on the end product. A perfect music group example is Demetori. Their first 2-3 albums are mostly prog metal, very experimental, and you get many odd shifts through a single track. But look at them now! A confident metalhead duo releasing kickass content.
@@SkuddeOuo was asari thinking about destiny 2 when they made this. cause at 4:04 . THAT IS ACTUALLY TANIKS THEME FROM DEEP STONE CRYPT IN THE BACKGROUND!!!
@@entropyascending515 The beats are not similar enough imo to pull a direct comparison. It's a relatively generic orchestral drum section after all. It's not unusual for touhou arrangers to reference other music in their work so I think if it was the intention, the section would sound much more like the original of that reference.

a neat experiment with different styles.
it will be nice to see how the artist develops them in future arrangements.
