You don't need to jump unnecessarily. The reason why batman jumps automatically because of free running/parkour.

That's where Hugo is, and his plan is to put most criminals of Gotham on that island and destroy it thereby killing all the criminals. It turns out Hugo was working for Ras, and the latter kills the former, and the former initiates self-destruct before he dies, and that's why it's on fire. And they were also talking about ruling the world together, but I don't know how they were going to do that. And there's this other plot with Joker dying and Batman is forced to find the cure because the former not only infected Batman with whatever he's got, but he also infected the rest of Gotham.
That's pretty much what the tower is and the basic plot of the game.
I hope they do an animate movie of batman Arkham city one day
There is an animated movie that WAS Canon with the Arkham games, until Suicide Squad came out. It's called Assault on Arkham.

As soon as you Suit Up as Batman in the Begining of the Story the Entire City is Open to Explore! It's accessible from the gecko!

No you can't, you need to buy return to Arkham or the Arkham collection
Thankfully the Price for the Game has dropped significantly so it shouldn't be too much of a Hassle to Buy!

It depends on what suits you. If you prefer a massive city and extra story, as well as riding in the Batmobile then Arkham Knight is what you should play. However, if you prefer a smaller city and less to worry about, then Arkham City is your strongsuit.
