I was already thinking they weren't going to get it, then I got to 19:01 and HOLY HELL WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD IS THAT THING KILL IT WITH FIRE!!! Then the damn ad picture they show looks like a colorized Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark illustration.
Interesting that GSN only got around to airing three eps of this run, with the package mostly consisting of the 1997 season. Kind of an odd way to package your leases.
Sadly, this will be the last Shop GSN airs for a while. This show (and Catch 21) have been yanked from the sked in favour of $25,000 Pyramid and another ep. of Card Sharks.. hopefully it's a placeholder for a return of Sale of the Century in a few weeks.
In the bonus round Raul went to stores we didn't hear a lot going to in the 92-93 season fun & games & Heidi's healthy living (which is the shop in the middle upstairs)
Let's piece together the evidence. Since I recorded this episode during the Lifetime run, I will make an assumption that it aired in September because the newer "Big Time on Lifetime" logo debuted by that point. The non-GSN Season 3 uploads had the old one so they probably ran in July or August.
Does anyone know anything about the background music playing during the stunt at 2:12? I know it was used extensively during the show's run, and this is the longest version I've heard.
This was the longest I’ve heard it too...... in the bonus round when the boxes are revealed in most of the 90’s .....this is the first piece of background music they play
Anyone else notice when the Hong Kong picture flies off, instead of a red-colored background on the back of it (which I assume is part of the SHOP in the show's logo), they just have the picture reversed? Just looks a little weird to me. And personally, I prefer the Lifetime logo (with the red SHOP and blue DROP) as opposed to the "New" Family Channel (all blue) and PAX (all teal) logos.
They need to bring this show back

Tubewings I agree with you there but I prefer the annimation from the 91-92 compared this "the ones with the cashier and bouncing sound effect".
