QE Artist-in-Residence Program: Clarisse Abelarde

Meet Clarisse Abelarde, one of our two current artists-in-residence. Clarisse, an immigrant from the Philippines, her work deals with issues of identity and representation. Abelarde currently attends California State University, Long Beach for her BFA in Drawing and Painting.
The Residency program was created in 2021 to support and give a platform to emerging and mid-career artists in the greater Los Angeles area to develop their work and engage with a new community. Quinn takes pride in their artists!
